Kenny Adams

Kenny Eugene Adams of Bradfordsville, KY, the son of the late Clifton Eugene and Isamae (Courtwright) Adams, was born June 8, 1949, in Casey County and departed this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Lebanon at the Village of Lebanon. He was 75 years of age.

He enjoyed drawing, watching The Waltons and Gunsmoke, and liked everybody and everything, especially attending services at the Pleasant Valley Christian Church, where he was a member. Kenny was a lovable individual who grew up in a modest lifestyle, yet he consistently radiated happiness and enthusiasm for life. He had a gift for connecting with others, always greeting them with a smile and a hug. Kenny’s talents included drawing portraits that captured the subject’s personality and pantomiming various characters and animals. He was deeply devoted to his family, his church, and his community.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Faye Rakes, and a niece, Amanda Murphy.

Survivors include two brothers and a sister: Darren Adams and Marty Adams and wife Bridget of Bradfordsville and Annette Malone and husband Dan of Lebanon; nieces and nephews: Terry and Beth Wilson, Bobbi and Jeff Todd, Krissy Adams, Derek and Allison Adams, Kallen Adams, and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Kenny Eugene Adams will be Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Bradfordsville, with burial to follow at the Weatherford Cemetery.

Bro. Delean Pinkston and Bro. Bob Miller will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the church.

L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville is in charge of arrangements.
