Bobby Blair

Bobby Blair of Campbellsville, son of the late Arvin Blair and Ruby Lewis Blair,  was born February 10, 1937 in Adair County, Kentucky.  He died at 5:30 A.M., Wednesday, August 13, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age:  88

He professed faith in Christ and attended Meadowview Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict, having served his country honorably in the United States Army for ten years and in the Air Force twelve years.

Bobby was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after more than twenty years of service.

He united in marriage to Bettie Jewell Dean Smith June 2, 1956.

Besides his wife, Bettie Blair of Campbellsville, Bobby is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Laverne Blair of Columbia; special grandson and granddaughter:  Jordan Bland and Jefra Bland-Hines and husband, Jared of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren:  Asher Hines, Harper Hines, Griffin Hines and Brody Hines; two brothers and one sister:  J. D. Blair of Charleston, South Carolina, William T. Blair of Michigan and Carol Ann Forrest of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a son, David Lee Blair.

BURIAL:  Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard
