Donald Kelly Whitley
Donald Kelly Whitley of Mt. Washington, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, the son of the late Donald C. and Gwendolyn Yvonne (Kelly) Whitley, was born May 26, 1964, in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his home. He was 61 years of age.
He attended the Grace Heartland Church in Elizabethtown and was a substance abuse counselor.
Donnie, as most people call him, had a love of movies and a passion for music and spent his life helping people; all in all, just a great friend to have. His greatest accomplishment, however, was being a father to his son, Landon.
Survivors include his son, Landon Pawley Whitley of Elizabethtown; a brother, Marcus Whitley, and wife, Stacey of Leitchfield.
His nieces and nephews: Sydne Whitley of Edmonton, Ian Hinson of Leitchfield, and Ethan Hinson and wife Nicole; his great-nieces and nephews: Ahliana, Aubrey, and Keaston Hinson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Donald Kelly Whitley will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5-8 P.M. EST and after 8:00 A.M. EST on Saturday at the funeral home.
