Evangelist Donald “Don” Conard Williams

Evangelist Donald “Don” Conard Williams, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Donald Eugene Williams and Bernice Blanche Hibbs Williams, was born on September 28, 1933, in Terra Alta, WV, and departed this life on September 9, 2025, at his home in Campbellsville. He was 91 years of age.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He was an evangelist and chalk artist. He received his Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Great Plains Baptist Divinity School of Sioux Falls, SD. He was also a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, astronomy, archery, falconry, and was an artist.

He is survived by his wife, Nan Shockey Williams, having united in marriage on June 4, 1955. He is also survived by four children: Donald Allen Williams (Loretta) of Elizabethtown, Deborah Davidson (Dan) of TN, Lynne Rochelle Humphress of TN, and Rebecca Ann Campbell of Colorado. 13 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive.

One sister and one brother, Dortha Haines and Lewis Eugene Williams (Judy), all of West Virginia.

The funeral service for Evangelist Donald “Don” Conard Williams will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Campbellsville. Entombment will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Bro. Bob Cutler and Bro. Tyler Campbell will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be donations to the Beacon of Truth Ministries and may be made at the church or at the funeral home.
