Janet Kay Cox
Janet Kay Cox of Campbellsville, KY., the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Hayes) Cox, was born April 16, 1951, in Jefferson County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, September 15, 2025, at her home. She was 74 years of age.
She was a former cook at Creekside Restaurant in Campbellsville and was of the Methodist Faith.
She was an avid fan of University of Louisville basketball and spending time with her dogs, and still had the memories of JoJo, her dog that is now deceased.
Survivors include two daughters: Kerri (Larry) Rafferty and Trisha Sanders, all of Louisville.
Four grandchildren: Douglas (Ginger) Hayden, Chantz Sanders, MaKayla Sanders, and Jacob Rafferty; three great-grandchildren: Evelyn Sweat, Cyrus Hayden, and Lincoln Sweat; special friends: Everett and Rose Colvin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
FUNERAL: Thursday, September 18, 2025, 1:00 P.M.
