James Allen “Jimmy” Wethington
James Allen “Jimmy” Wethington of Columbia, formerly of Clementsville, the son of the late James Harold “Jim Duck” and Patricia Sue (Fisher) Wethington, was born September 12, 1957, in Missouri and departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2026, in Danville, KY, at the Select Specialty Hospital. He was 68 years of age.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and attended the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Clementsville.
Jimmy was a handyman and loved technology.
Survivors include his children: Cory, Cris, and Casey; his step-children: Jennifer and Emily; and his former spouse: Erlinda Ordonez Wethington.
Three sisters and two brothers: Mary Ann and Joe, Tom and Christie, John and Shelia, Anna Marie and Peggy, and Jason. Also, his fiancé of fifteen years, Paulette Susan Pittman.
Also, five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alicia May.
To honor the request of Jimmy, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. Bernard Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
