Jamie Scott Chappel, 64
Jamie Scott Chappel of Campbellsville, the son of Judy (Hunt) White and the late Gerald Chappel, was born January 2, 1962 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 in Louisville at the University Hospital. He was 64 years of age.
He was a former forklift mechanic for MH Equipment and of the Baptist Faith.
He loved working on cars and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his mother: Judy White of Campbellsville: his wife: Mary “Kathy” (Poling) Chappel of Campbellsville; two daughters and a son: Amy Reynolds of Lexington, Jay Chappel and companion Leslie of Colorado and Alexis Spires and husband Jaxon of Campbellsville.
Also a step-son: Dylan Reeves of Hazard; a brother and sister: Mark Chappel and wife Janie and Lucretia Bryant all of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Allie Grace Chappel, Kealey and Macilynn Mann and a host of other relatives and friends.
FUNERAL: Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00 P.M.
