Joe Dudgeon

Joe Dudgeon of Campbellsville, son of the late William Alvin Dudgeon and Nancy Elizabeth Dickens Dudgeon, was born July 1, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:00 A.M., Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 90

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church

Joe was a retired sewing machine mechanic at Fruit of the Loom. He also loved to farm when he was younger, showing his antique cars off, piddle in his shop, and spending time with his family.

He united in marriage to Juanita Shively November 12, 1955.

Besides his wife, Juanita Dudgeon of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and two sons: Anita Rainwater and husband, Lewis, Terry Dudgeon and wife, Jill, and Jerry Dudgeon and wife, Greta, all of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Jeremy Clark and wife, Andrea, Shannon Carson and husband, Hoover, Daniel Dudgeon, Josh Dudgeon and wife, Afton, Matt Dudgeon and wife, Briana, Blake Dudgeon and wife, Caylin, Tyler Dudgeon and wife, Ailee, Brook Richerson and husband, Blake, and Halie Dudgeon; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one daughter-in-law, Vanessa Dudgeon; one son-in-law, Jimmy Clark; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Joe was also preceded in death by his son, Danny Dudgeon, his daughter, Kathy Clark, one sister, Mae Caulk, and one brother, Gordon Dudgeon.
