Eva Mae Cox
Eva Mae Cox of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Ike Bagby and Velma Bryant, was born January 23, 1947, in Green County and departed this life on February 12, 2026, in Campbellsville. She was 79 years of age.
She was of the Christian Faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, canning, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid Elvis fan.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Buck of Campbellsville, Roger Cox (Franki) of Campbellsville, and Keith Cox (Angie) of Greensburg. 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Also, one brother, Danny Bagby (Wanda) of Chicago, and one sister, Mary Price of Greensburg.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse, Mac Cox, and three children, Wayne Cox, Susan Cox, and Ricky Cox. Five siblings, Robert Bagby, Val Bagby, Jr. Bagby, Coy Bagby, and Marie Nugent.
Funeral Service: 6 PM Monday, February 16, 2026, at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
Officiating: Bro. Jeff Edwards
Visitation: Monday, February 16, 2026, from 4 – 6 PM at the funeral home.
