Alyce Hutchins

Alyce Hutchins of Hodgenville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dr. James Ray Conover and Winifred Pickett Conover, was born August 16, 1941 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She died at 12:25 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Hodgenville.    Age: 84

Alyce had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church.

She united in marriage to Delynn M. Hutchins, Sr. July 18, 1963 and would have celebrated 63 years this July.

Alyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former employee of the Public Library and taught piano for many years. She was in the All Girls Drum Corps. at Campbellsville High School in her early years and later, served as a substitute teacher in the Danville school system. She was a God-fearing woman and led an upbeat life. She loved people and always had a positive attitude to share with those she met.

Besides her husband, Delynn M. Hutchins, Sr., Alyce is survived by three sons: Delynn Hutchins Jr. and wife, Sharon of Lexington, Rob Hutchins and wife, Heather of Fisherville and Charles Hutchins and wife, Deidra of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren: Allyson Worley and husband, Dalton of Summerville, South Carolina, Andrew Hutchins of Norfolk, Virginia and fiancé, Madisyn Conner of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Grace Noe and husband, Zack of Louisville, Haley Pastuczek and husband, Joe of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Holt Hutchins and Hunter Hutchins of Fisherville, Ethan Hutchins of Campbellsville, Molli Hutchins of Shelbyville and Ella Hutchins of Elizabethtown; three great-grandchildren: Gunnar Noe, Maleia Worley and Taytum Worley; one brother, Jim Ray Conover and wife, Linda of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
