Artis Darlene Lane
Angela Darlene Lane, of Liberty, formerly of Campbellsville, the daughter of Carol (Short) Owens and the late Donald Berlin Phelps, was born July 13, 1968 in Indiana and departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Russell County Hospital. She was 58 years of age.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cell phone games, traveling the backroads, horses and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband: Artis Lane of Liberty, her mother: Carol Owens of Green Castle, Indiana.
Also her children: Rachel Redford of Harrodsburg, Rebecca Davis and husband Mike of Florida, Vikki Lane, Artie “Artie” Lane, Jr and wife Kayla and Sonya Lane, all of Campbellsville, and Nathan Edwards and wife Tara of Liberty.
A brother and sister: Duke Phelps and Lana Phelps, both of Indiana and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister: Tanya.
To honor her request, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
