William Paul “Bill” Fain
William Paul “Bill” Fain of Campbellsville, The son of the late Billy Joe Fain and Mildred Williamson Fain, was born on July 3, 1953, in Dallas, TX, and departed this life on August 19, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. He was 73 years of age.
Bill was a long-time community servant having cared for many people in Taylor County over the years as an EMT, Paramedic, and Respiratory Therapist, and as a Registered Nurse at Taylor Regional Hospital. Bill was in the second graduating class of Paramedics in Kentucky, and helped in the construction of the Campbellsville-Taylor County Rescue Squad building.
Bill is survived by his children: Andy Fain (Brittany) of Campbellsville, Stacey Fain Lewis, and Bethany Ezell of Gallatin, TN, Joseph Fain and Chris Fain. Three grandchildren, Austin Fain, Kirk Fain, and Emily Ezell. One brother, David Fain of Campbellsville, and his two fur babies, Butterscotch and Peaches.
Also, surviving is his former spouse and significant other, Pam Laboyteaux of Campbellsville.
Bill’s wishes were to be cremated and to have no formal service.
