Willie Ray “Bill” Shipp
Willie Ray “Bill” Shipp of Campbellsville, the son of the late Ernest Shipp and Roberta Smith Shipp, was born on June 17, 1957, in Marion County, and departed this life on August 19, 2026. He was 69 years of age.
He was a former employee of Wal-Mart, Ingersol-Rand, and Malone Realty, and was a photographer. He enjoyed riding his Harley –Davidson motorcycle, traveling, photography, hunting mushrooms, and attending concerts.
He is survived by two nephews, Galen Shipp of Indiana, and James Shipp of Campbellsville. One sister-in-law, Geneva Shipp of Campbellsville, his adopted family, Sandy Parent (Greg), Veronica England-Lobb (John), Alex England (Logan), and Katie England. Also, his god-children, Jaclyn Bottoms, Chase Bottoms, and Kari Negron.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest M. Shipp, and James Edward Shipp.
There will be a visitation from 4:30 – 6:30 PM, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
