Margaret Newton Gadberry
Margaret Newton Gadberry of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Oscar Newton and Gladys Rafferty Newton , was born February 23, 1950 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:24 A.M., Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 76
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for twenty five years and a retired co-owner of Lee’s Famous Recipe in Greensburg with her husband Larry for twenty two years.
She united in marriage to Larry Gadberry February 20, 1970 and he preceded her in death December 4, 2023.
She is survived by one daughter, Hollie Westbrook and husband, Rob of Campbellsville, son, Cory Gadberry and wife, Jacki of Campbellsville; step-son, Van Gadberry and wife, Cabrina of Lebanon; eight grandchildren: Addie Sapp and husband, Drew of Campbellsville, Reece Westbrook and fiancé, McKenzie Kempf, Haleigh Gadberry and Hannah Gadberry of Bowling Green, Gwennie Wuertenberg of Elizabethtown, Analeigh Gadberry of Greensburg, and Mason Gadberry and Mekenzie Gadberry of Lebanon; four brothers and two sisters: J. Paul Newton and wife, Carlene, David Alan Newton and wife, Angie, Carolyn Whitlock, and Mike Newton, all of Campbellsville, Rick Newton and wife, Kim of Elizabethtown, and Bonnie Claycomb and husband, Eddie of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Margaret was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Billy Newton, Doris Ray Newton, Faye Atcher, Shirley Maupin, and Jan Cates.
