Robert Marshall Allen, age 58, of Redman Avenue, Campbellsville formerly of Marion County, died, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at his residence after an illness. He was the son of the late Walter and Burnetta Allen. He was a cabinet maker with Classic Kitchens. He is survived by his wife, Judy Allen, Campbellsville, one son and daughter-in-law, Marshall A. And Beth Allen of Lebanon, one daughter, Melinda Hubbard of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, Hayley Noel, Sharah, Corrina, Amber and Elizabeth Allen, one step grandson, Sean Noel, two step great grandchildren, Morgan Noel and Taylor Noel, two brothers, Terry Allen of Finley, Alton Allen of Campbellsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM, Sunday, July 6, 2008 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Bro Carlton Puryear, officiating.

Travis quot;Buckquot; Giles Travis quot;Buckquot; Giles, age 69, of Speck Ridge Road , Elkhorn, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Taylor Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Van and Irene Giles. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Giles of Elkhorn, one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Debbie Giles of Elkhorn, one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Al Gamboa of Lexington, eight Grandchildren, Sarah, Grace, and Emily Giles, Eric, Vanessa, Chelsie, Amber and A. J. Gamboa, one great grandchild, Nate Fugate, three brothers, Charles Giles of Columbia, Dee Giles of Florida and Michael Giles of Indiana, three sisters, Janie Spicer, Judy Jones both of Indiana and Frances Reynolds of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Thursday at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery. Rev. Joe Hatchett, officiating. Danny Dale Underwood Danny Dale Underwood, age 48, of Campbellsville died Sunday at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mayme Sprowles Underwood, one half brother, Delbert Warren. He is survived by two sons, Julian Underwood of Campbellsville and Daniel Creason of Greensburg, his father, John Underwood of Greensburg, one brother Ray Underwood of Campbellsville, three sisters, Susan Watson, Kathy Hicks and Diana Dickens of Campbellsville, two half brothers, Billy Bell of Bardstown and Phillip Underwood of Campbellsville. Lenora Shirrell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Thomas Wright and Mable Bell Jones Wright, was born January 28, 1920, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 4:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Age: 88 She professed faith in Christ at the age of sixteen and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church until moving to Clarksville, Tennessee in January 1986. She attended the First Baptist Church of Clarksville until her health deteriorated. She united in marriage to William B. Shirrell December 22, 1938. He preceded her in death March 25, 1976. She is survived by one son and two daughters: Tommy Shirrell and wife, Lillie of Campbellsville, Sue Powell and husband, Joe of Mt. Gilead, Ohio and Beverly Smith and husband, Rodney of Clarksville, Tennessee; one son-in-law, Sanford Dicken of Campbellsville; two daughters-in-law: Juanita Shirrell of Tennessee and Patty Durrett of Greensburg; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Kate Staten of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters: Kathleen Bishop, Judy Dicken, Johnny Shirrell and Jerry Shirrell; three brothers and one sister: Jack Wright, J. T. Fay Wilson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Leslie Burris and Inez Dixon Burris, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, October 28, 1931. She died at 1:02 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 76 She united in marriage to Charles Wilson March 21, 1950. She was employed by Fruit of the Loom for some thirty-nine years. She professed faith in Christ and attended the Zion Separate Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson of Campbellsville; one son and one daughter: Doug Wilson of Danville and Rita Perkins of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: David Benningfield, Ashley Mann and Mistie Lee of Campbellsville, Bryan Hylton of Danville, Lucy Maddox of Shepherdsville and Shirley Yates of Greensburg; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother and two sisters: William Dale Burris, Martha M.
