Ryan Shipp of Campbellsville, son of Dr. Robert Shipp and Linda Kraus Shipp, was born March 7, 1979, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:25 A.M., Thursday, June 12, 2008 in Campbellsville as the result of a motorcycle accident. Age: 29 He was a student and had attended Full Sail Film School in Orlando, Florida. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church. Survived by his parents, Dr. Robert and Linda K. Shipp of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister: Scott Shipp and wife, Andrea of Campbellsville, Adam Shipp of Elizabethtown and Samantha Shipp of Louisville; his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Virginia Shipp of Campbellsville; two aunts: Linda Shofner and husband, Bobby of Campbellsville and Sharon Barnes of Olathe, Kansas; one nephew and one niece, Mason Shipp and Addison Shipp; many other relatives and friends. Willis Embry, age 88, of Ingram Avenue, Campbellsville died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in Ohio after an illness. He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Embry, of Campbellsville, one step son and wife, Carroll and Betty Rafferty, step daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Ron Fitzgerald, Juanita and Donnie Ford, Linda Winfrey, Mary Nell and Donnie Cox all of Campbellsville, one brother, Marshall Embry of Glasgow, several nieces, nephews and host of friends. Sarah Lynn Key, infant daughter of Scott and Brandy Key, of Speck Ridge, Campbellsville, was stillborn at Lake Regional Hospital in Somerset on Wednesday. Besides her parents she is survived by three brothers, Robbie Key, Elijah Key and William Key all of Campbellsville, two sisters, Alyssa Key of Campbellsville, Tracy Key of Florida . Maternal grandparents, Mary and Russell Parks of Russell Springs, Paternal grandparents, Thomas Key of Millerfield and Charlotte Allen of Roley. Graveside services will be conducted at 4PM, Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Roley Cemetery. Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Norman Carl Matherly, age 67, of Frankfort, formerly of Taylor County, died Wednesday, at Windsor Garden Nursing Home in Bardstown. He was preceded in death by his parents James Frank and Mae Shofner Matherly, his wife Norma Ray (2004), brother and sisters, Franklin Matherly, Doris and Sue Ellen Matherly. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Carrie Matherly of Campbellsville, four sisters and brother-in-law, Doyle Webster, Ann and Frank Dile, Virginia Shields and Sharon McKee all of Campbellsville, seven nephews and five nieces.
