Jeffery L. Davis of Campbellsville, son of James I. Davis and the late Norma Kashman Davis, was born October 27, 1965, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:35 A.M., Friday, May 9, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee. Age: 42 He was employed as a semi-truck driver. He was a member of Campbellsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovahrsquo;s Witness. He is survived by one daughter and one son: Chelsea Davis and Caleb Davis of Campbellsville; his father: James I. Davis of Campbellsville; two sisters: Sharon Wooldridge of South Carolina, and Cheryl Blount of Campbellsville; four nieces and one nephew: Michelle Brimmer of Kentucky, Stefanie Johnson of South Carolina, Amanda Craig of Indiana, Billi-Jo Wooldridge of South Carolina and Zach Craig of Indiana; two great-nephews: Corey Brimmer of Kentucky and Hayden Johnson of South Carolina. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: James I. Davis Jr., Johnny Davis, Shari Craig and Shirley Davis. text-align: center ______________ The family chose cremation. Norwood C. Raynor , 67, of Sherwood Drive Campbellsville, died Friday, May 9, 2008 at Taylor Regional Hospital, after an illness. He is the son of the late C. Dodd and Bartley Padgett Raynor. He is survived by his wife Robin Raynor of Campbellsville, one son Frank Raynor, of Ohio, one daughter, Leeanne Asher of Ohio. Two step grandchildren,one sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and Gurman Norris, North Carolina, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Everett and Frieda Wilson, sister-in-law, Dana Coomer of North Carolina. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Lebanon National Cemetery. Military services will be conducted by the Marion County DAV. Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Marvin Newton, age 87, of Beechwood Drive, Campbellsville, died Sunday May 11, 2008 at Medco Nursing Home after an illness. He was the son of the late John Thomas and Frances Phillips Newton. He was also preceded in death by his wife Virginia Tucker Newton, step mother, Elizabeth Minor Newton, one brother, Thomas P. Newton and on sister, Virginia Newton Rose. He is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Frances Newton Moss of Campbellsville,, Peggy and Charles Graham of Campbellsville, one niece Mary Frances Hughes of Florida and nephew, Dr. James T. Wooldridge of Lebanon. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Rev. Paul Patton and Rev. Hoover French of Campbellsville, son of the late Emmett French and Mary Catherine ldquo;Cattierdquo; Morris French, was born December 17, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:45 P.M., Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 79 He was a retired farmer. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He united in marriage to Jean Quinn July 11, 1953. Besides his wife, Jean French, he is survived by three sons and two daughters: Kenny French and wife Wanda, Kevin French and wife Mary, Pam Holmes and companion Mike Helm, and Phyllis Cowan and husband, Donnie of Campbellsville and Keith French and wife, Nancy of Hawesville; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: William H.
