She died at 9:10 P.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 80 size=3She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. size=3She had been employed as a medical assistant. size=3She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Mike Denney of Louisville, Jim Denney of Durham, North Carolina and Carolyn D. Harp and husband, Lee of Springfield, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Michael Bishop of Greensburg and Mindi Lee of Pleasant View, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren: Shae Bishop and Mikayla Bishop of Greensburg and Raina Lee and Olivia Lee of Pleasant View, Tennessee; one brother and three sisters: Wayne Durham and Margaret Perkins of Campbellsville, Barbara Simmons of Greensburg and Marcia Alcorn of Mt. Brenda Sue Smith, age 44, of Bowen Road, Campbellsville, died Saturday at her residence after an illness. Brenda moved to Campbellsville, thirteen years ago from Glen Ellyn Illinois. She graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a masters degree in Christian Counseling and was active in her church and was partners with her mother Faye Smith in the Fashion Connection clothing store as well as the Quilt ship located on Hoskiss Street. Brenda was was proceded in death by one brother Allen Ray Smith of Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her parents, Orville and Faye Howard Smith of Campbellsville, one brother, Timothy Smith of Illinois and one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Rodney Cross of Campbellsville, her grandmother Edith Smith of Buffalo,Nephew and shared son, Raymond Fowler of Colorado, Special nephew and nieces Tyler, Rebecca and Jacqueline Cross of Campbellsville, also surviving special friend, Viola Tungate, nursing attendant, Teresa Short.
