She died at 10:00 P.M., Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 92 size=3She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. size=3She was a retired schoolteacher in the Taylor County School System, having taught for some thirty-seven years. 10pt size=3She united in marriage to Ernest Woodford ldquo;Ernierdquo; Self. She died at 8:00 A.M., Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Campbellsville. Hazel Marie Bryant, age 88 of Handley Avenue, Campbellsville, died Saturday at the Grandview Nursing Home after an illness. She was the daughter of the late Ruby and Cora Johns Dudgeon. She was preceded in death by her husband Velouris quot;Bluequot; Bryant on August 31, 1968. Also preceding her in death was two brothers, Alvin Dudgeon, Robert Howard Dudgeon and two sisters Christine Clark and Elsie Dudgeon. She was a lifetime member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church and retired after 24 years from Campbellsville Laundry. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law and one daughter and son-in-law, David quot;Bluequot; and Regina Bryant, Kenny Bryant and Ruby and Jimmie Rose all of Campbellsville. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive along with one sister, Elizabeth Thomas of Louisville. Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Marie Bryant will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jim Durham, officiating.
