Lelah June Thompson, age 82, of Titan Drive, Louisville, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Hospice Inpatient in Louisville after an illness. She was daughter of the late William and Susie Ward Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Garnett Thompson, September 10, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Carl Taylor, Dallard Taylor, Bill Taylor, Sylvia Griffin, and Mary Durham. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry Lee Thompson, Larry Eugene and Minnie Thompson, David L. And Debra Thompson, Sr., Sandra Underwood, Frances Darlene and William Cook and Patricia Ann and Jimmy Hunt all of Louisville, twenty two grandchildren, forty four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, one sister, Ester Clark of Fairdale. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews , relatives and friends. . Funeral services for Lelah June Thompson will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Brooks, Ky, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Campbellsville. She is survived by her husband Wallace Phillips of Campbellsville, two sisters-in-law, Ayleen Williams, of Campbellsville, Margaret Davis of Lexington, six nieces and nephews, Tony Williams, Elaine Caffee, John Williams, David Jarboe all of Campbellsville, Nancy Loyall of Greenburg and Debbie Jackson of Lawrenceburg.
