Mildred Nicholas of Nicholasville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Kearney and Rena Campfield Kearney, was born February 25, 1945, in Taylor County, Kentucky.
She died at 12:37 P.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in Lexington.
Age: 62
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Kenneth Nicholas on December 20, 1961.
Besides her husband, Kenneth, of Nicholasville, she is survived by two daughters and two sons and spouses: Connie and Ricky Bohanon, of Goshen, Dawn and Randall Chewning of Nicholasville, Kenny and Sherry Nicholas, Timmy Nicholas, of Campbellsville, and nine grandchildren: Amanda Bohanon Patrick and husband, Evan, Stephanie Bohanon Stewart and husband, Garrin, Brittany Bohanon, Tiffany Marie Chewning, Nikki Chewning Wilson and husband, Justin, Jared Ray Nicholas, Jordan Allan Nicholas, Chelsea Roshel Nicholas and Dylan Blade Nicholas, and two great-grandchildren, Ella Marie Patrick and Emma Grace Patrick, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers: Doris Gray, Robert Kearney, Norman Kearney, Eugene Kearney, Charles Kearney and Henry Lee Kearney, in infancy.

Daryl Harmon, of Campbellsville, son of Esther Purvis Harmon and the late Ernest R. Harmon, was born October 11, 1955, in Campbellsville. He died at 12:40 A.M., Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Campbellsville.
Age: 51
He professed faith in Christ on June 25, 2004, and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He had been the owner of several businesses over the years: Harmon Paneling, Aquarium World, CountrySide Real Estate Auction Company and had been a partner in Brook-Stone, Inc.
He united in marriage to Betty Ann Rhodes Benningfield, on August 26, 2004.
Besides his wife, Betty Harmon, of Campbellsville, he is survived by his mother, Esther Harmon, of Campbellsville; one son, Derek Harmon, of Campbellsville; two step-children, Jennie Williams, of Lexington, and Ben Benningfield, of Campbellsville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bert and Lorene Rhodes, of Campbellsville, and one sister-in-law, Patricia Wheat and husband, Doug, and one brother-in-law: David Rhodes and wife, Leslie; eight nieces; two aunts and uncles, Juanita Linton and husband, Chris, and Delbert King and wife, Joy, and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Ann Harmon Humphress, on August 25, 2000, and one step-daughter, Judy Ann Benningfield on June 14, 2000.

Harold Edward Pittman, Jr., age 37, of Barney School Road, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident in Marion County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Pittman, Sr., his grandparents, Chester and Stella Pittman and Eddie and Opan Clark.
He is survived one daughter, Sara Renea Pittman, of Campbellsville, his mother, Wanda Pittman of Campbellsville, one brother, Terry Pittman of Campbellsville, three nephews, Bradley, Nathaniel and Nicholas Pittman all of Campbellsville, his companion, Terri Cochran of Campbellsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Tallowcreek Cemetery.

Ray Douglas Sherrill
Ray Douglas Sherrill, age 64, of Walling Street, Campbellsville, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home after an illness.
He was the son of the late Rollin and Mary Hardin Sherrill. He was also preceded in death by his brother Junior Sherrill and two sisters, LaFaye Watson and Audrey Mowery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Sherrill of Campbellsville, four sons, Shawn Douglas Underwood, Raymond Douglas Sherrill of Cambellsville, Ray Douglas Sherrill, Jr, of Alabama, Bobby Sherrill of Summersville, three daughters, Denise Skaggs of Summersville, Teresa Coulter of Campbellsville, Melissa Orberson of Bradfordsville, one step-son, Scott Anthony Hoosier of Campbellsville, thirteen grandchildren, two brothers, Winfrey Sherrill and Bobby Sherrill of Evansville, Indiana.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Elkhorn Cemetery .
