Mamie Rice Phillips

Mamie Rice Phillips, age 91, formerly of Jackson Towers, Campbellsville, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the Grandview Nursing Home in Campbellsville.
She was the daughter of the late William and Laura Dills Rice. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Rufus Phillips, who passed away April 28, 1980, two sons , Harry and Joseph Phillips,three brothers and one sister, Clate, Vester and Edward Rice, and Violet Perkins.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Connie Phillips of Campbellsville, two daughters, Charolette Crouse of Springfield, Illinois and Kathleen Moore of Campbellsville, one daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Phillips, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, one brother Adron Rice of Hebron, Kentucky and one sister, Racheal Arnold of Missouri .
Funeral services for Mamie Rice Phillips will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Phillips Cemetery.

Boyer Jones, age 82, of Shearee Court, Campbellsville, died Friday April 27, 2007 at the University of Louisville Hospital after an illness.
He was born in Sano, Ky, to the late Corney Clyde and Flossie Mae Herron Jones. He was also preceded in death by half-brothers, Rollin, Paul and Toby Bothrope, and sisters, Mary Jo Jones and Blanche Jones.
Boyer played basketball for Campbellsville High School, was drafted into the United States Army where he served during WWII. Upon the ending of the war, he completed his service playing basketball for the US Army. Jerry Frank. Belden, age 54, of Long Acre Road, Campbellsville, died Friday, April 27, 2007 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville after an illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Delmer Belden. He was a member ot he Truth Tabernacle Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Belden of Campbellsville, his mother, Martha Whitehouse Belden of Lebanon, two brothers and sister-in-law, Larry Belden of Lebanon, Ray and Lenora Belden of Indiana, one sister and brother-in-law, Maryann and Lee Scully of Mt. Washington, five nieces and nephews, Charlie Scully, Chris Scully, Chasity Scully, Angie Martinez, Brenda Belden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Akin Cemetery in Green County.

Alma Virginia Blaydes LaCrosse, age 69, of South Central Avenue, Campbellsville, died Monday, April 23, 2007, at her residence after an illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Loretta Parnell, one son, Donnie Blaydes, one grandson, Kevin Blaydes, two brothers, Lemon and Rev. J. T. Parnell. She was a retired employee of Active Ad and a member of Bethlehem Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband, Bill LaCrosse, of Campbellsville, one son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Denise Blaydes of Campbellsville, two daughters and son-in-law, Twanna and Ronald Lee of Virginia, Rita Bilger of Campbellsville, three step-sons, Todd Blaydes, Jeffrey Blaydes and David Blaydes all of Sulfur Wells, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers, Junior Parnell of Sulfur Well, Kenneth Parnell of Milltown, three sisters, Dorothy Hall of Greensburg, Audrey Blaydes, Sulfur Wells, Marie Pierce of Indiana.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Martin Cemetery at Exie, in Green County.
