Miss Aileen Phillips of Liberty Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alonzo Earl Phillips and Lois Bookout Phillips was born July 27, 1921 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:15 P.M., Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Age: 85 She professed faith in Christ. She was a school teacher and was retired from the Taylor County School System. She is survived by her caretakers, George and Jane Harmon of Campbellsville; one niece, Sarita Reams and one great niece, Drema Rochelle Reams of Harned, Kentucky; several other relatives and many friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Harold Phillips and Mary Katherine Phillips in infancy. Lottie Philpott of Hobson Road, Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Dennis Hudson and Beatrice Colvin Hudson was born August 13, 1920 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:15 A.M., Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Cecil Ray Philpott April 14, 1936. He preceded her in death August 4, 1997. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty plus years of service. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law and one daughter: Billy Ray and Gail Philpott and Pauline Pike of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Dinah Houston of Ashland, Robbie Philpott and wife, Sandy of Greensburg, Veronica Allen and husband, Shanon of Richmond and Annette Dean and husband, Andy of Memphis, Tennessee; six great-grandchildren: Jessica Drose of Georgetown, Ger Sasser and Isaac Houston of Ashland, Cole Bland of Richmond, Ethan Philpott of Campbellsville and Lucas Chinn of Memphis, Tennessee; three sisters: Gladys Jones and Mary K. Winifred Pickett Conover of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John H. Pickett and Hallie Rogers Pickett was born February 7, 1918 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:30 A.M. Friday, February 9, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 89She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church. She was a piano teacher and church musician for many years.She united in marriage to Dr. James R. Conover October 31, 1937. He preceded her in death January 3, 1998. Richard A. Sublett of Regency Court, Campbellsville, son of the late Jessie H. Sublett and Minta Thomas Sublett, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky,March 16, 1914. He died at 11:55 A.M., Friday, February 9, 2007, in Campbellsville. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and held other offices in the church, a member of the Chancel Choir, and served thirty-eight years as District Treasurer of the Campbellsville District. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He worked at Crabtree Firestone Store for fifteen years and then at First Federal Savings and Loan Association for over twenty-five years, where he retired in 1980. He united in marriage to Frances Sprowles September 6, 1942. She preceded him in death March 1, 2002. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Pirie K. and Kathy Sublett of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; one sister, Helen Brady of Elizabethtown; two sisters-in-law: Hilda Sublett of Campbellsville and Minnie Sublett of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Clayton Sublett, Claude Ray Sublett, Lee Wilcoxen, and Marie Wright.
