Juanita Woodrum of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Clifton Cox and Lola Noel Cox was born March 26, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:15 P.M., Sunday, January 28, 2007 in Georgia. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and attended the Church of God. She united in marriage to Milburn Woodrum Jr. February 6, 1951. He preceded her in death April 13, 2003. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Judy Woodrum of Louisville and Darrell and Connie Woodrum of Snellville, Georgia; three grandchildren; Chari Woodrum of Salt Lake City, Utah, Wil Woodrum and Cole Woodrum of Snellville, Georgia; two brothers and two sisters: Marvin Cox and MacArthur Cox of Elkhorn, Virginia Holt of Mt. Washington and Naomi Rash of Shelbyville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Ronnie Lynn Woodrum July 1, 1954 and Randel Lenere Woodrum March 14, 1958; two brothers and three sisters: Orville Cox, Willard Cox, Opal Ward, Margaret Hicks and Dorothy Malone. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2007at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. Paul Patton BURIAL: Noel Cemetery in Casey County Family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to the Campbellsville Christian Church.

Loreta M. Burress, age 69 of A. Cox Road, Elkhorn, died Sunday at Taylor Regional Hospital.She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Lucy Ellen Reed Dever, two brothers, J. W. Dever and Murrell Dever. She was a member of Stoner Creek Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband, Ancil Burress of Elkhorn, two sons and daughter-in-law, Neal and Connie Burress and Kendal Burress and his companion, Linda Gribbins of Elkhorn, one daughter and son-in-law, Leshia and Barry Cox of Elkhorn, five grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, two great grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren, two brothers, Lemual Devers of Louisville and Viron Devers of Ilinois, one sister, Inez Cox of Campbellsville.Funeral services for Loreta M. Magellan Spike Napier, age 59

Magellan (Spike) Napier was born July 21, 1947 in Knifley, Kentucky to the late Ruby Napier His grandmother, Willie Napier who was also like his mother preceded him in death as well. Spike was employed at Cox Interior for ten (10 ) years. His hobby was woodworking. He loved working on craft houses and made many craft houses and barns. Spike was saved and baptized into the Pleasant Union Baptist Church. He said he loved being a member at Pleasant Union and came as often as he could. He was called to rest. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Napier, grandmother and grandfather, Willie and Berdett Napier, brother, Randy Napier. He leaves to cherish is memories, wife, Margaret Scott Napier, one daughter, Lisa Napier, two grandchildren, Jaylin and Makayla, two brothers, Christopher (Carol) Golden of Columbia, Ky, Danny Napier of Knifley, Ky Also surviving are one uncle Clelon (Charles Anna) Napier of Lexington, Ky, two aunts, Lela Napier of Lexington, Ky, Lula Blythe of Knifley, Ky, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Funeral services for Magellan (Spike) Napier will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in White Cemetery at Knifley, Ky.Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. David Hovious, age 66, of Davis Road, Campbellsville, died Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the Taylor County Hospital after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Vernon Burress Hovious and one brother Daniel Hovious.He is survived by his wife Rachael Hovious, two daughters and sons-in-laws and one son, Cynthia and Tim Hudgins, Ashley and Jason Cox, and Chris Hovious all of Campbellsville.
