Edith Ward Simpson of Coakley Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Hannibal Ward and Mary Alice Wethington Ward was born March 19, 1919 in Casey County, Kentucky. She died at 5:20 A.M., Saturday, September 16, 2006in Campbellsville. Age: 87 She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She united in marriage to Fred Simpson August 23, 1937. He preceded her in death April 9, 2001. She is survived by two daughters and one son: Barbara Stewart of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, Faye Faulkner and husband, Boogie and J. R. Simpson and wife, Joyce of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Tommy Stewart and Mark Stewart of Atlanta, Georgia, Ken Smith Jr. of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Allen Smith of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Cyndi Cheatham, Carol Brown and Bridgette Simpson of Campbellsville; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Tom Stewart Sr., October 13, 2002; three brothers and two sisters: George Ward, Roy Ward, Earl Ward, Maxine Wethington and Dorothy Jean Carter. Betty Wethington of Christerson Lane, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thomas Ray Williamson Sr. and Emma Lee Cochran Williamson was born in Cook County, Illinois, August 30, 1948. She died at 11:07 P.M., Saturday, September 16, 2006, in Campbellsville. Age: 58 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher having taught in the Nelson County and Taylor County School Systems. She united in marriage to Bill Wethington April 1, 1967. Besides her husband, Bill Wethington of Christerson Lane, Campbellsville, she is survived by three sons and spouses: Harold and Joann Wethington, Michael and Rachelle Wethington, and Eli and Lydia Wethington; five grandchildren: Will Wethington, Shelby Wethington, Bailey Wethington, Cody Wethington, and Izzy Rafferty; all of Campbellsville; one brother and three sisters: John Williamson and Rose Waskon of Liberty, Mary Goode of Russell Springs, and Sharon Monday of Dunnville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Louise Bell of Social Band Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alvin Killen and Betty Skaggs Killen Larimore was born February 18, 1919 in Larue County, Kentucky. She died at 7:05 A.M., Thursday, September 14, 2006 in Lebanon. Age: 87 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.She united in marriage to Virgil Bell July 10, 1937. He preceded her in death in October 11, 1984. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Pat Bell of Campbellsville; two grandchildren and their spouses: Lisa and John Richerson and Keith and Trish Bell of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Miranda Richerson, Loren Richerson, Jessalyn Read, Brittanie Bell and Jeffrey Dyer of Campbellsville: one great-great-granddaughter, Reagan Read of Campbellsville; two half-sisters: Evelyn Walker and Frances Marr and husband, Lou of Summersville; four sisters-in-law: Mae Bell, Nina Lobb and Shirley French of Campbellsville and Pat Bell of Merritt Island, Florida; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Charles Thomas Bell, July 19, 1948; her step-father, Clem Larimore; one sister, Mildred Price; two half-brothers: Harold Larimore and Norman Larimore.
