Joan Moss of Brownington Way, Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Manvil Moss and Mabel Williams Moss was born April 8, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:07 P.M., Monday, August 21, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 67 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was retired from Taylor County Bank after many years of service. She is survived by one daughter and one son and spouses: Kym and Mike Stein of Campbellsville and Mark and Sherry Read of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Jon Michael Stein of Ft. Benning, Georgia, Eric Stein of Bowling Green and Brandon Read of Glasgow; one brother, George Moss of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends. Shirley B. Allen of Lakeview Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jeptha Clayton Brooks and Phyllis Emily Grenfell Brooks, was born in Silver City, New Mexico, February 8, 1926. She died at 4:41 P.M., Friday, August 18, 2006, in Louisville. Age: 80 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was part owner of Top Hat Caterers for many years. She united in marriage to Dr. Damon E. Allen April 16, 1944. Besides her husband, Dr. Damon E. Allen of Campbellsville, she is survived by four sons and two daughters: Damon E. Allen Jr. of Southington, Connecticut, Linda A. Pearl of Bowling Green, John B. Allen and wife, Cathy of Campbellsville, Sherry A. Williams and husband, Thomas of Houston, Texas, Richard R. Allen of Cordova, Tennessee, and Robert Bradley Allen and wife, Yvonne of San Antonio, Texas; fifteen grandchildren: Christopher Allen, Deeann Romeika, Nicholas Allen, Shannon Piper, Nick Pearl, Emily Pearl, Kelly Jhamb, Laura Pearl, Ryan N. Allen, Jenny Allen, Damon Adam Williams, Hayley Brooke Allen, Seth Clayton Allen, Robert B. Allen II, and John R. Allen; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters: Irene Alexander of Houston, Rae Richardson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Gloria Shelton of Rosenburg, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patty Gail Allen in infancy; two daughters-in-law: Jo Ann Little Allen and Audra Richardson Allen; six brothers and three sisters. Audra Denise Hart Scott of Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, daughter of Diane Caulk Bland and Joseph Larry Bland was born July 16, 1970, in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, August 19, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 36 She was an employee of Cox Interior.She united in marriage to Richard Scott January 3, 2006. Besides her husband, Richard Scott of Campbellsville, she is survived by three step-children: Michael Scott of Lebanon and Falycity Tate, and Jaquous Johnson of Campbellsville, her mother, Diane Caulk Bland of Campbellsville and many other friends and relatives. Ruth W. Newcomb of Lincoln Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Mark Wilson and Nona Ethel Feese Wilson, was born January 31, 1916 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 1:10 P.M. Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 90 She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Parker Newcomb October 15, 1934. He preceded her in death August 29, 1995.She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Leonard Ford of Campbellsville; three grandchildren and spouses: Cathy and Jeff Newton, Randy and Judy Ford and Greg and Ginger Ford of Campbellsville; eight great-grandchildren: Stacy Witham, Leigh Hays, Chad Ford, Jenny Lynn Newton, Ben Newton, Drew Newton, Logan Ford and Brooke Parker; five great-great-grandchildren: Kailey Witham, Abigail Witham, Bryce Newton, Makayla Parker and Isaiah Parker; several other relatives and many friends.
