Virgil WarrenVirgil Warren age 94 of Robinson Ridge Road, Knifley, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home. He was the oldest member of Robinson Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lettie Warren, his wife Thelma Warren (1999), one son, Troy Warren, one sister, Dora Warren, ten brothers, Paul, Oral, Shelby, Olis, Mitchell, John, Joseph, Clyde, Roy and Estil Warren.He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Audrey Warren of Columbia, Eventis and Francis Warren, Russell and Paula Warren, all of Knifley, Bennie and Betty Warren of Dunnville, three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita and Rev. George Hancock, Vonda and Frankie Welliver, Linda and Larry Hughes all of Knifley, one daughter-in-law, Juanita Warren of Columbia, eighteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchilren. Also surviving is one brother Welby Warren of Knifley, along with a host of relatives and friends.Funeral services for Mr. Virgil Warren will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Robinson Chapel cemetery.Rev. Stanley B. DeWitt, age 79, of Scotts Ridge, Marion County, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the Springview Hospital after an illness.He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Hazel Whitlock DeWitt, his first wife, Jo Ann DeWitt (01-29-2000). He was a member of the Mount Washington Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.He was united in marriage in January 2001 to Dorothy DeWitt, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Nathan DeWitt, Campbellsville, Hugh DeWitt, Elizabethtown, Ed DeWitt of Louisville, Kenneth DeWitt, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Norman DeWitt, Springfield, one step-son, Paul Wright, Hodgenville, three daughters, Hazel Gray, Campbellsville, Frances Waddle, Taylorsville, Gloria Jean DeWitt, Tennessee, one step daughter, Donna Bishop of Greensburg, seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, one brother, James DeWitt of Elizabethtown, one step brother, John Peterson of Maryland, two step sisters, Jean Abbott of Florida and Lou Byers of Big Springs, Ky.Funeral services for Stanley DeWitt will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Elizabeth Virginia Chaffin, age 90, of Mayes Court Campbellsville, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Green Hill ManorNursing Home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart and Nora Durham Graves, her husband, Rev. Calvin Chaffin, one daughter, Juanita Smith, six brother and two sisters, Willie, George James, Edward, Ralph, Johnnie, Virgie, Vernal Chaffin.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Mary Lois Chaffin of Campbellsville, one daughter, Eunice Shears of Campbellsville, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Edna Louise Campbell, age 58, of Jonathan St. Campbellsville, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Taylor Regional Hospital.She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Nellie Cubit. She is survived by one son, Joseph Anthony Campbell of Leitchfield, one grandchild, Artishaia Campbell, one sister, Authuree Shelton of Chicago.
