Gerold Followell of Dragway Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late Ira Followell and Flossie Mae Clarkston Followell was born September 13, 1942 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 12:50 P.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 62 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church. He was a retired farmer. He united in marriage to Juanita Followell August 12, 1966. Besides his wife, Juanita Followell of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son, Tom Followell of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Samantha Renee Followell and Tyler Followell of Campbellsville; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Ivana and Clemmie Cox and Mary and Gary Pepper of Campbellsville, Dorine and Bryant Wilkerson of Columbia; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers: Phyllis Ann Smothers, Rachel Faye Followell, Maydell Orberson, Helen Tungate,Billy I. Charles E. Hunt of Greenhill Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Rodford Hunt and Ella Arvin Hunt was born March 31, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:24 A.M. Thursday, August 11, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 75He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He also served in the Kentucky National Guard.He retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was a retired farmer.He united in marriage to Frances Fawcett June 10, 1950. She preceded him in death January 27, 1997. He united in marriage to Edith Newton Smith June 2, 2001. Besides his wife, Edith Hunt of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: Charles Douglas Hunt and wife, Roxie and Danny Lewis Hunt of Campbellsville; five step-sons: Charles Wise of Elizabethtown, Jerry Wise of Boynton Beach, Florida, Everett Wise of Louisville, R. W. Wise of Campbellsville and Michael Wise of Norfolk, Virginia; one grandson, Joey Hunt of Campbellsville; six step-grandchildren: Travis Warren of Mt. Washington, Charles Eugene Wise II of Elizabethtown, Brandon Wise of Florida, Brian Wise and Terry Wise of Louisville and Christi Kidwell of Campbellsville; six step-great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Delbert Hunt of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Lillie Fawcett of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by one step-grandson, Laramie Warren; one sister, Vonnie Caulk. Ladena M. Bell, age 59, of Eastridge Cemetery Road, Columbia, died Thursday, August 4, 2005, at her residence after an illness.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ura and Julie Harris McGowan, one son, David Lee Bell, four brothers, J. B. Mcgowan, Albin McGowan, Gary McGowan and Ricky McGowan, four sisters, Viethel Johnson, Jane Foley, Deva Popplewell and Carol Hernandez.She is survived by her husband, Sam Bell, one son and his fiancee, Robbie Bell and Jennifer Tungate, one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Brian Humphress all of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, Katyden Ray, Samuel Leland, Anthony, Ladena and Robbie Bell, Jr., all of Campbellsville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Funeral services for Ladena M. Bell will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Mayme Davis, age 90, of Inverness Avenue, Louisville, formerly of Taylor County, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Nortons Audubon Hospital in Louisville.She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. And Janie Morris Thompson, her husband, Rev. Wheeler Davis in 1970, five sisters, Audrey Shofner and Christine Miller, Sadie Beard, Elsie Thompson, Lula Thompson, one brother, Marvin Thompson,and two half brothers, Lester and Henry Thompson and two half sisters, Georgia Murphy and Virgie Nelson.She was a retired seamstress and a member of the Louisville Separate Baptist Church.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Judy Davis of Louisville, one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Paul Shofner of Louisville, five grandchildren, Bryan, Mark and Kathy Davis, Penny Hester and Rhonda Jewell all of Louisville, three great grandchildren, Jennifer and Sierra Shofner and Andrew Hester. Also surviving is one sister, Lona Skaggs of Campbellsville along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Funeral services for Mayme Davis will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial to follow in the Mt. Connie Hall of Taylors Chapel Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Johnnie Nelson and Bettie Thompson Nelson was born May 18, 1922 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:35 P.M., Sunday, July 31, 2005 in Greensburg. Age: 83 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Herman Hall April 23, 1945. Besides her husband, Herman Hall of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and one daughter and spouses: Melvin and Jane Hall of Campbellsville and Shirley and Kenny Pierce of Mt. Sherman; five grandchildren: Ken Pierce, Monica Pierce and Daniel Pierce of Mt. Sherman, Kim Harris of Springfield and Shannon Cook of Summersville: five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Effie Lewis of Louisville and Norma Jean Wise of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
