L. M. Read Jr., of Sheffield Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Lee M. Read Sr. and Nellie Cox Read was born October 31, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:15 A.M., Tuesday, May 17, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 79He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.He was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Leona Mills August 3, 1953. Besides his wife Leona Read of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Benny Aaron of Campbellsville; one niece, Linda Lemons and her husband, Allen; one great niece, Angela Battreal and one great-great niece, Alisha Battreal of Louisville; several nephews, many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Harris. Nora Sprowles of Woodruff Avenue, Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wesley Sherman Shofner and Lillie Hedgespeth Shofner was born November 20, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:00 A.M., Friday, May 20, 2005 in Louisville. Age: 76 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Elmer Odell Sprowles September 30, 1948. He preceded her in death April 14, 1984. Calvin Keltner of Roberts Road, Campbellsville, son of the late William Edgar Keltner and Maggie Lee Beard Keltner was born December 3, 1914 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 10:15 A. M., Friday, May 13, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 90 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired farmer.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Bernice Dabney January 1, 1949. She preceded him in death August 25, 2002.
