She died at 11:12 A.M., Tuesday, November 23, 2004 in Elizabethtown. Age: 60 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She united in marriage to James Read MoreR. Henry CowherdR. Henry Cowherd of New York, recently of Bolivia, South America, son of Ina Graybeal Cowherd and the late Robert H. Cowherd was born September 27, 1950 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Friday, November 5, 2004 in Bolivia, South America. Age: 54He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1981 with a degree in graphic arts and photography. His professional activities included archeological work in Jordan and Egypt for the University of Chicago and the Amman University in Amman, Jordan, the Merchant Marines during Gulf War I and work in the travel industry. More recently he lived in Bolivia, South America. Some of his Bolivia activities included travel, working with children and mission work. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ina Graybeal Cowherd and Paul Phipps; one brother, Roy Cowherd, one sister, Lena Cowherd McCubbin; one niece and three nephews; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Cowherd; one brother, Marshall Cowherd. She was a retired school teacher having taught at Mannsville Elementary School for thirty-seven years. She united in marriage to Sam Harden January 9, 1942. Besides her husband Sam Harden of Liberty Road, Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter and her husband, Debbie and Jack MacConaugha of Campbellsville; two step-granddaughters: Hope Genrich of Atlanta, Georgia and April Bouras of Elizabethtown; two great-grandchildren: Paul Bouras and Emelia Bouras of Elizabethtown; one sister and one brother and their spouses: Doris and John Gaines, and Bradley and Fannie Sapp; one sister-in-law, Janice Gaines, and special friends, Raymond and Exie Burress of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
