Gracie Bright of Elm Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late W. A. Brockman and Effie Sapp Brockman was born July 8, 1922 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:00 A.M., Monday, October 25, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Elmer Bright August 30, 1940. He preceded her in death November 6, 1986. She is survived by one daughter and one son and their spouses: Margaret and Duane Reynolds of Campbellsville and Charles and Halla Bright of Lebanon; six grandchildren: Tyler and Dustin Reynolds of Campbellsville, Mark Bright of Columbia, Mary Jo, Charles Robert and Michael Wayne Bright of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers: Pearl Benningfield, Gertie Marcum, Lela Shively, Minnie Brockman, Dorothy Brockman, Albert Brockman and Charles Brockman. Charles Nicholas Bear of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Guy Bear and Elsie Mai Brown Bear was born August 8, 1933 in Burns, Tennessee. He died at 6:11 P.M., Monday, October 25, 2004 in Louisville. Age: 71He professed faith in Christ and attended the First Church of God.He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country honorably in Vietnam, Korea, Indochina and Germany. He attained the rank of First Sergeant, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and received the Purple Heart and many other medals and citations. He united in marriage to Virginia Franklin who preceded him in death in l985. He united in marriage to Willine Sallee Gabehart February 14, 1986.Besides his wife Willine Bear of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, he is survived by two step-sons: Greg Barnett and his wife Barbara and Doug Barnett and his companion Sandy McFelea of Campbellsville; four step grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; four sisters: Maxine Graham, Ruth Lanier, Joann Love and Gail Beasley of Burns, Tennessee; special neighbors, Breanna Draper, Grant Kinser and Madison Kinser; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. James Lynwood Mitchell of Walnut Street, Campbellsville, son of the late Willis Mitchell and Nannie Humphress Mitchell was born October 15, 1927, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 5:20 P.M., Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Louisville.Age: 76 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Coca Cola Bottling Company of Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Florence Taylor February 3, 1951. Besides his wife, Florence Mitchell of Walnut Street, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother, John Mitchell and his wife Ann of Louisville and one sister, Rebecca Tanner and her husband Kenneth of Versailles; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. David M. Hogan of Bradfordsville Road, Mannsville, son of Clair Hogan and the late Ernest Max Hogan was born in Louisville, Kentucky, February 7, 1949. He died at 6:44 A.M., Saturday, October 16, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 55 He professed faith in Christ and attended Mannsville United Methodist Church. He was a retired employee of Daimler Chrysler Company in Michigan. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He is survived by his mother, Clair Hogan of San Diego, California, a sister and brother-in-law, Sheri and Wally Soro of San Diego, California; grandmother: Flossie Edelen of Mannsville; two nephews and one niece: Dylan Soro, Derek Soro and Ashley Soro of San Diego, California; several other relatives and many friends. Tommy Browning of Bambridge Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late James Chapman Browning and Mary Dahoney Browning was born July 26, 1921 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 6:25 P.M., Saturday, October 16, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 83 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired farmer and bred and raced thoroughbreds. He united in marriage to Pauline Bohannon August 19, 1943.Besides his wife, Pauline Browning of Bambridge Lane, Campbellsville, he is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and Nolan Robinson and Ellyn and Robby Davis of Campbellsville and Janice and Richard Storey and Patty and Michael Martin of Lebanon; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Gabehart of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
