Clara Taylor Richerson CaveClara Taylor Richerson Cave, age 92, of Shearee Court, Campbellsville, died Sunday, July 18, 2004 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Frances Jarboe Richardson of Taylor County. She was a homemaker, renowned quilter and former Sales Clerk and Tailor at several establishments in Campbellsville. Mrs cave was the oldest member of the Palestine Baptist Church and an avid fan of both the Kentucky Wildcats and the Louisville Cardinals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Leslie Cave, a daughter, Dorothy Frances Cave, five brothers and five sisters, Robert, Ben, Hugh, Charles and Willie Richeson, Lora Rice, Mabel Judd, Grace Caffee, Fannie Maupin, Susie Newcomb.Mrs. Cave is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Steve Giles, special friend Mrs. Catherine Sabo and treasured neighbors, Charles, Vicky, Jon Kyle and Jessica Bailey.Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Taylor Richerson Cave will be held at 1:00 P.M. Billy Frank Sexton of Campbellsville, son of the late Roy W. Sexton and Pearl Elizabeth Dixon Sexton was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 13, 1934. He died at 6:15 P.M., Saturday,July 10, 2004, in Elizabethtown. Age: 69 He professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by six sisters: Wilma and husband Gerald Farmer, Sue and husband Jackie Burriss, Jewell Beard, Dorothy and husband Conrad Claycomb, and Kay and husband Harold Harrison all of Campbellsville, Linda and husband Pepi Castillo of Birmingham, Alabama; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Henry W. Lewis of Smith Ridge Road, Campbellsville, son of the late John M. Lewis and Alice Crabtree Lewis was born October 18, 1906 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 2:56 P.M., Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 97 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years.He was a retired farmer. He united in marriage to Altha Harrison January 1, 1930. She preceded him in death November 11, 1979. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Lorena Cochran; two granddaughters: Marlene Harper and her husband Sam and Cindy Murphy; four great-grandchildren: Chris Harper and his wife Crystal, Nicole Harper, J. R. Murphy and Paige Murphy; two great-great-grandchildren: Joshua Harper and Kirsten Harper all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Hazel Parrott of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late D.C. Abney and Minnie Lee Eades Abney was born October 18, 1927 in Oldham County, Kentucky. She died at 1:30 A.M., Monday, July 19, 2004, in Elizabethtown. Age: 76 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where she worked as an inspector for twenty-seven years.She united in marriage to Jesse M. Parrott November 5, 1946. He preceded her in death July 13, 1994. She is survived by four daughters and their spouses: Phyllis and Larry Penick of Greensburg, Vickie and Greg Robertson of Radcliff, Judy and Charles Nalley of Loretto and Paula and Terry Clark of Rineyville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two sisters: Esther Touchberry of Garden City, South Carolina and Lucille Day of Eminence, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Gerald Chappel of Handley Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late L. C. Chappel and Pernie Stayton Chappel was born in Adair County, Kentucky, December 17, 1935. He died at 6:47 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 68 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where he worked for thirty-six years. He united in marriage to Dorothy Price Dooley August 27, 1993.
