Hattie Berry of Brownington Way, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Chaney Davis and Ethel Head Davis was born in Taylor County, Kentucky October 29, 1918. She died at 4:45 A.M., Wednesday, June 23, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 85 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church. She united in marriage to James Earl Chapell October 8, 1938. He preceded her in death October 3, 1980. She united in marriage to Rev. Rollie C. Berry June 6, 1983. He preceded her in death July 19, 1993. She is survived by two sisters: Christine Firkins of Cave City and Kim Davis of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Kathleen Davis of Campbellsville; four step-sons and one step-daughter: Roy Berry, James Berry and William Berry of Campbellsville, Doyle Berry of Nobb, Indiana, and Morine Ettel of Clarksville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters: Dan Davis, Wayne Davis, Willie Davis, Chaney Eugene Davis, Edna Chappell, Clyde Harden, Lorene Lewis and Vernie Hovious. Aileen E. McKinley, age 83, of Beechwood Drive, Campbellsville, died Friday, June 25, 2004at the Metzmeir Nursing Home after an illness. Mrs. McKinley was a longtime community leader in Campbellsville.She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Monnie Wilson of Louisville, six nieces and nephews, Carol Whitley, Campbellsville, Martha Ingram Vozos, Louisville, Laurene Bowling, Fisherville, Milton Toby, Lexington, Robert Walker Wilson, Louisville and John Albert Wilson, Louisville, two step-sons, Larry McKinley, Upton, Roger and Betty McKinley of Virginia, two sister-in-laws, Gladys McKinley, Campbellsville, and Mary Ruth Arnett, Williamsburg, Ky. Several great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive.Visitation will be 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Saturday,June 26, and until 8 PM on Sunday, June 27, at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel, after 9:00 AM Monday, June 28, at Bethel First Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 28, at 11:00 AM at Bethel First Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery.

Geraldine P. TaylorMrs. Geraldine P. Taylor, age 75 of Monroe Tennessee formerly of Taylor County died Friday June 18, 2004 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Tennessee after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruby Howard Pickett of Kentucky and a retired housewife. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Pickett Jr. and Richard Pickett.She is survived by her husband James A. Taylor, one son and one daughter, Carl Van Pelt of Tennessee, Joyce Van Pelt of Somerset, step-children, Brad Taylor of Tennesse, Eugene Taylor of Campbellsville, Linda Eversole of London and Reba Hudman of Glasgow. Five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren also survives along with two brothers and four sisters, Paul Ray Pickett, Harold Pickett, Eunice Duncan, Dorothy Stone, Celia Beard and Vivian Capehart all of Lexington.Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine P. Taylor will be conducted at 11:00 A.M.
