Kathryn G. Owens of Ford Street Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Ray Gibson and Irene Russell Gibson was born June 2, 1917, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:21 P.M., Sunday, June 13, 2004, in Campbellsville.Age: 87 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle. She retired after thirty years employment in the Civil Service. She united in marriage to James E. Owens, July 18, 1953.Besides her husband, James E. Owens of Ford Street, Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter, Linda Hilbert of Erie, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Greg Hilbert of Erie, Pennsylvania and P.J. Allyne Shreve of Diane Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Russell White and Villa Jones White was born July 25, 1920, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:15 P.M., Sunday, June 13, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 83 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Frank Shreve, October 22, 1941. He preceded her in death February 27, 1983.She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Paula Sue and Marshall Wayne Ellis of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Jason Ford and his wife Shannon of Somerset and Christopher Ford and his wife Lee of Bethesda, Maryland; two step-granddaughters: Marsha Benningfield and Melisa Morris of Campbellsville; one great-granddaughter, Erica Lamar of Utica, Kentucky; three sisters and two brothers: Faye Muncie and Bernice Lynch of Campbellsville, Frances Montgomery of Greensburg, Thomas White of Hodgenville and Harold White of Rising Sun, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Brandon Price of Sanders Road, Campbellsville, son of Nevin Price and Sherri Porter Price was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 17, 1992. He died at 1:48 P.M., Thursday, June 03, 2004, in Campbellsville as the result of a four wheeler accident. Age: 12 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. He was a seventh grader at Taylor County Middle School. Besides his parents, Nevin and Sherri Price of Sanders Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother, Cole Price of Campbellsville; grandparents: G. W. and Faye Porter of Campbellsville and Hollis and Minnie Hancock of Lebanon; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Burchett of Campbellsville; several aunts and uncles and many other relatives and friends. George H. Sprowles of Regency Court, Campbellsville, son of the late Carl Sprowles and Maggie Spurling Sprowles, was born July 17, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:55 P.M., Saturday, June 5, 2004, in Louisville. Age: 79 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946 in the Red Bull Division and was recipient of the World War II Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star, Croix De Guerre W/Palm, American Theater Ribbon, and European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon. He was a retired installation and maintenance supervisor at G.T.E. He united in marriage to Margaret Walker August 31, 1946. She preceded him in death August 2, 1972.He united in marriage to Frances Russell September 1, 1973.Besides his wife, Frances Sprowles of Regency Court, Campbellsville he is survived by five children and their spouses: Eddie and Vickie Sprowles, Bobby and J.J. Sprowles, Mike and Joyce Russell, Lana and David Helm and Steve and Linda Russell of Campbellsville, six grandchildren, Shana Crabtree, Dana Dudgeon, Bridget Cox, and Isaac Russell of Campbellsville, Brian Helm of Taylorsville and Trevor Sprowles in the United States Air Force; one great-granddaughter, Molly Crabtree and one future great grandson, Aidan Cox; a brother-in-law, Richard Sublett; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Frances Sublett and Lewis Carl Sprowles.
