Mary Anne Carter of Risen Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late C. V. Bryan and Beulah Wilkerson Bryan was born December 3, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:20 P.M., Saturday, May 8th in Campbellsville. Age: 75 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a long time employee of the Purple and Gold Restaurant. She united in marriage to Veachel Carter May 30, 1946. He preceded her in death January 12, 1996. She is survived by three sons: Stephen L. Carter and wife Becky of Lexington, Bruce Carter and Chad Carter of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jennifer Lynn Hronek of Covington, Elizabeth Anne Carter of Hustonville, Kerr Anne Carter of Charleston, South Carolina, Benjamin B. Carter of Lexington, Kelsie T. Carter and Wyatt Lee Carter of Campbellsville; three sisters: Nelle Vaughn of Campbellsville, Virginia Coffey of Louisville, and Betty Larimore of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
