Stubbs, age 69, of Milder Creek Road, Campbellsville, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Elda Bowen Pennington. She was a member of the Eastside Church of God. Besides her parents she was preceded in death byone sister, Betty Jo Barker.She is survived by her husband Richard Stubbs, one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Pamela Little of Campbellsville, two daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Rick Jude of Summersville and Kathy Humphrey of Louisville, seven grandchildren and five greatgranchildren, three brothers, Lewis Pennington, Jr, of West Virginia, Wilbur Pennington and Mickey Pennington of Ohio, three sisters, Opal Whitmer, Wanda West and Debbie Burg all of Ohio. Several other relatives survives along with a host of friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel F. Stubbs were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 7, 2004, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Liberty Cemetery.Rev. Dorothy E. Wise of Fairview Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late George L. Thompson Sr. and Effie Lee Malone Thompson was born in Marion County, Kentucky, October 21, 1925. She died at 8:30 A.M., Monday, May 3, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom; she and her husband were owners and operators of Wise Grocery for some seven years and they were owners and operators of Campbellsville Upholstery for some twenty-five years until their retirement.She united in marriage to Chester Wise February 22, 1947. Besides her husband, Chester Wise of Fairview Drive, Campbellsville, she is survived by two children: Ron Wise and wife Sue and George Wise and wife Donna of Campbellsville; a son-in-law, Larry G. Cox of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Melissa Ellis of Dunnville, Kentucky, Pat Watson, MacKenzie Wise, Lorna Bush and Ben Cox of Campbellsville and Max Wise of Lexington; eleven great-grandchildren: Jacob Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Seth Ellis, Mariah Ellis, John Samuel Ellis and Hope Ellis of Dunnville, Caitlin Watson, Anna Beth Watson, Payne Watson and Tyler Bush of Campbellsville, Grayson Wise of Lexington; three sisters and one brother: Elizabeth Maupin of Franklin, Kentucky, Helen Mattingly of Louisville, Jean Peterson of Lebanon and G.
