Mary Imogene Gabehart of Flat Rock, Michigan, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Vaughan and Jane Lyons Vaughan was born July 5, 1910 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, January 25, 2004 in Michigan. Age: 93 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Flat Rock, Michigan since 1946. She retired in 1975as a teacher from Flat Rock Public School System. She united in marriage to Ira Homer Gabehart, December 17, 1937. He preceded her in death November 20, 1981.She is survived by one son and one daughter: Herbert Gabehart and wife, Elizabeth of Ida, Michigan and Donna Burk and husband, Robert of Lake of the Ozark, Missouri; three grandchildren: William Gabehart of New Jersey, Meg Gabehart of North Carolina and Wendy Roberts and husband Will of Saline, Michigan; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Eugene Gabehart in 1972; one grandson, Paul Robert Burk in 1999; one brother and one sister: Robert Vaughan and Pearl Murrah. GRAVESIDE SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Campbellsville by Rev. Gary Durham. Family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The First United Methodist Church in Flat Rock, Michigan. Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Della Burress of London Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev.W. H. Cave and Ida Catherine Farmer Cave was born June 15, 1905 in McDowell County, West Virginia. She died at 4:10 A.M., Thursday, January 29, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 98 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.She united in marriage to William Horace Burress who preceded her in death August 20, 1992. She is survived by two sons: Dwight Cave and wife, Rose, and Allen L. Burress and wife, Anne of Campbellsville; one step daughter: Madeline Morrison and husband, James of Campbellsville; one step-daughter-in-law, Cleo Burress of Mt. Washington; thirteen grandchildren: Dr. John Burress of Boston, Massachusetts, Diane Mahoney of Meade County, Larry Cave, Danny Cave, Terry Cave, Sheila Kiper, Elizabeth Hale, Ronnie Morrison, Gary Burress and Darrell Burress all of Louisville, John Morrison of Campbellsville, Brian Burress and Diane Burgin of Mt. Washington; twenty-two great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one step-son, William Horace Burress Jr. August 25, 1992; one grandson, Allen Burress Jr; two brothers and four sisters: Monroe Cave, Claude Cave, Nettie Kilby, Dorothy Mings, Flora Ball and Dora Landrum. #65279;Norma Rae MatherlyMrs. Norma Rae Matherly, age 72, of Cherry Lane, Frankfort, Kentucky died Tuesday,January 27, 2004 at her residence after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Walter Cochran of Casey County and her mother Clara Goode Cochran who survives her daughter. She has went on to be with the lord. She lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for thirty five years before returning to Kentucky. She was a very caring wife and mother, she was also ahomemaker and her hobbies included, Quilting, baking and listening to gospel and bluegrass music. Shewas very active with her church at Central Baptist and doing things for other people.She is survived by her husband, Norman Matherly, mother, Clara Cochran, children, Roy and KenRigney both of Indiana, Jerry Rigney of Frankfort, James Rigney of Elizabethtown, Patrica Ruley ofRatcliffe and Patti Covey of Moses Lake, Washington, two brothers and one sister, James and WalterCochran both of Lebanon, Carol Noran of California, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildrenalso survive along with other relatives and a host of friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Rae Matherly will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 30,2004 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Taylors Chapel Cemetery.The family request that Memorial Contribution be sent to the Hospice of the Bluegrass at 208Steele Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601-2744.
