Don Houk of Bell Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Charles Edward Houk and Martha Bea Thompson Houk was born March 26, 1932, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 12:15 P.M., Sunday, January 11, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 71 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Southside Christian Church. He was retired from Western Kentucky Gas Company. He united in marriage to Peggy Gumm Houk, June 26, 1968.Besides his wife, Peggy Gumm Houk of Bell Avenue, Campbellsville, Kentucky, he is survived by two daughters: Patricia Carol Baldwin of Lexington, Kentucky and Bridgette Sue Durham of Bowling Green, Kentucky; two grandchildren: Jason Brandon Baldwin of Campbellsville, Kentucky and Austin Thomas Durham of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one brother and one sister: Barry Martin Houk of Greensburg, Kentucky and Bonnie Ferryman of Louisville, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister: Junius Houk, Rudolph Houk, Doyce Houk, James Houk, Rual Houk, Bobby Joe Houk, Maxie Houk and Polly Rogers. Floyd T. Hensley, Jr. of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Floyd T. Hensley, Sr. and Grace Dilley Hensley was born May 22, 1925, in Hart County, Kentucky. He died at 12:43 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as Elder and Sunday School Teacher. He was Moderator of the General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church from June 1991 to June 1992. He was a former Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Taylor County Bank. He was a fifty year member of the Rio Verde Masonic Lodge #698 F A.M. in Canmer, Kentucky, fifty year member of the Campbellsville Lions Club and Charter Member of Taylor Regional Hospital Board of Directors. He previously served as Trustee of Bethel College, and was a member of the Denominational Board of Finance. He was a former Agricultural teacher for Taylor County High School. He was a member of the Soil Conservation Board and active in fund raising for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Alta Adams September 10, 1947. Besides his wife, Alta Hensley of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother and two sisters: Eldon Hensley and wife Gloria of Horse Cave, Kentucky, Rowena Hines and husband Roy of Nashville, Tennessee, and Grace Counts and husband Bob of Englewood, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 15, 2004 at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Mr. Ron Ferree, Rev. Mr. Wayne Brooks, and Rev. Mr. Joe Jones BURIAL: Horse Cave Cemetery. PALLBEARERS: William Bault, Ken Bean, Sam Hayes, Jr. Morris Horn, Jim Miller, Jr. Russell Mongomery, Hugh Moss, Bill Vaughn, Jack Whitley, Murrell Young. Linda Dicken of Louisa, Kentucky, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jimmie Dicken and Edith Hendrickson Dicken was born December 26, 1943 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:51 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2004, in Louisa. Age: 60 She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one brother and two sisters: James E. Dicken and wife Betty of Greensburg, Kentucky, Pauline Brown of Franklin, Indiana and Doris Smith and husband Glenn of Campbellsville, Kentucky; many other relatives and friends. Maurice Gene Sallee of Handley Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late William Arthur Sallee and Mary Anna Murrell was born September 21, 1930, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:49 A.M., Sunday, January 11, 2004 in Louisville. Age: 73 He professed faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Separate Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He retired from the United States Air Force and Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Sarah Stansell who preceded him in death October, 1984. He united in marriage to Emma Lee Allen who preceded him in death June, 2003. He united in marriage to Mary Bell Curry, August 11, 2003, who survives. Besides his wife, Mary Bell Sallee of Handley Avenue, Campbellsville, he is survived by six children: Maurice Edward Sallee of Elkhorn, Deborah Turner of Cane Valley, Sharon White and Danny Ray Sallee of Campbellsville, Sarah Harmon of Columbia, James Darrell Sallee of Frankfort; one step-son, Jerry Edwards of Greensburg; his step-mother, Ruth Sallee of Campbellsville; four grandchildren; one-step-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; seven brothers and sisters: Logan Sallee and Mary Elizabeth Vance of Greensburg, William E Sallee, Daymon Sallee, Jewell Cox and Lora Mae Dudgeon of Campbellsville, and Athol Milby of Summersville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
