Shirley Marie Phillips of Phillips Lane, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Gilbert Lee Franklin and Mary Marie Farris Franklin was born May 2, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:45 P.M., Sunday, February 16, 2003, in Campbellsville after a long illness. Age: 66She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.She united in marriage to D. C. Phillips November 7, 1954.Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters and two sons and their spouses: Lisa and Glenn Cox, Kimberly Phillips, Tonia Lea and Kent Skaggs, David Phillips of Campbellsville and Steve and Angie Phillips of Milford, Nebraska; five grandchildren: Jessica Phillips, Corey Watson, Kenzie Watson, and Erin Cox of Campbellsville, and Jordan Phillips of Milford, Nebraska; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Billie and Carrie Mae Phillips and Ann Mattingly of Campbellsville, and Audrey Cash of New Orleans, Louisiana; several other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death by one son: Michael Joseph Phillips in infancy; three brothers and one sister: Norman Franklin, Garnett Franklin, Cletus Franklin, and Mildred Franklin in infancy.FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 19th at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
