#65279;John Huel Madole, age 59, of Old Columbia Road, Campbellsville, died Friday, October 4, 2002, in Adair County after a brief illness.He is survived by one daughter and her spouse, Angela and Bobby Morrison of Burksville, a three very special friends, Jimmy Long; Cindy and Junior Alexander all of Columbia. Several other relatives and friends also survive.Funeral services for John Huel Madole will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 7, 2002, at the Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Chapter of the D.A.V.The family request visitation from 5 to 9 P.M. Sunday at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Central Kentucky.These may be made at the funeral home.

Charles E. Cox of Landon Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late Otha Lee Cox and Toncie McDonald Cox was born October 28, 1925, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:55 P.M., Monday, September 30, 2002, in Campbellsville. Age: 76.He had professed faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville Christian Church.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Technician Fifth Grade with the 410th Engineer Construction Battalion. He and George A. Cox founded Cox Weather-stripping (which became Mannsville Sash and Door) and Cox Cabinet Company. He later founded Cox Interior. He united in marriage to Helen Bohanon December 16, 1944.Besides his wife, Helen Cox of Landon Lane, Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and one daughter: Barry Cox and his wife Lucy, Lanny Cox and his wife, Joyce, Kay Cox Legg and her husband, Larry all of Campbellsville and Steve Cox of Louisville; eight grandchildren: Jennifer Taylor, Benjie Cox, Aaron Cox, and Carol Simmons of Campbellsville, Grant Cox, Landon Cox and Lanai Cox of Louisville and Leigh Ann Simmons of Cincinnati, five great-grandchildren: Morgan Taylor and Cayela Taylor of Campbellsville, Austin Cox of Columbia and Ashton Cox and Cody Ogden of Louisville; three sisters and four brothers: Kenneth Cox of Campbellsville, William A. Cox, Carl Cox, Evelyn Meadows, Mary Waller, Sylvia Graybeal and Cozetta Allen of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Cox and Wallace Cox.FUNERAL SERVICES:2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 3rd, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Edwards, age 69, of Lincoln Avenue, Campbellsville, died Monday, September 30, at the Taylor County Hospital after an illness.She is survived by four daughters and their spouses, Louise and Darrell Ford, Sharon and Darrell Sherrell, Debbie and Jerry Cox, and Juanita and Johnny Tucker all of Campbellsville.Seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren also survive alongwith seven step-children, a special friend, Bob Wheeler of Campbellsville, and two sisters, PearlBurden of Lebanon and Kay Holt of Cincinnati, Ohio. Relda Sanders of Owl Creek Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Melvin Romine and Martha Frances McCorkle Romine was born in Green County, Kentucky, April 13, 1905. She died at 10:00 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2002, in Columbia. Age: 97She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church.She united in marriage to Wentford Rafferty October 27, 1925. He preceded her in death February 27, 1929.She united in marriage to Frank Wesley Sanders December 23, 1933. He preceded her in death September 20, 1961.
