Boyce F. Curry of Taylor Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Roy Lewis Curry and Anna Mae Jeffries Curry was born September 6, 1917, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 2:45 P.M., Friday, September 13, 2002, in Campbellsville. Age: 85He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he had served as an Elder.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army.He was a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Transmission Company.He united in marriage to Florence Nelson March 27, 1937.Besides his wife, Florence Curry of Taylor Avenue, Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Eugene Russell; one granddaughter and her husband, Susan and Kenny Phillips and one great-granddaughter, Amber Phillips all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Hollis Curry and Cylvia Curry.FUNERAL SERVICES:4:30 P.M., Sunday, September 15th, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Pastor Wayne Brooks BURIAL:Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Mrs. Opal Wood, age 88, of Bear track Road, Campbellsville died Friday, September 13, 2002 at the Medco Nursing Home after an illness.Mrs. Wood is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Diane Wood and one daughter and son-in-law, Doris Jean and Joey Patton all of Campbellsville, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two brothers and two sisters, Russell and Rodney Cox both of Campbellsville, Virginia Gabehart of Louisville and Ruby Wood of Indiana. Several other friends and relatives also survive.Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Wood will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday September 16, 2002 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.The family requests visitation from 5 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday September 15, 2002 at the Funeral Home.

James Dennie Skaggs of Mt. Carmel Church Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Robert B. Skaggs and Elizabeth Webb Skaggs, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 23, 1937. He died at 6:23 A.M., Sunday, September 8, 2002, in Campbellsville. Age: 64. He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the True Way Ministries Church. He was a retired carpenter.He united in marriage to Mary Veatch September 25, 1970. Besides his wife, Mary Veatch Skaggs of Mt. Carmel Church Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by one son, Gerald Skaggs of Campbellsville; one sister, Jo Anne Carter of Campbellsville; mother-in-law, Bertha Veatch of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
