Monteen Mings, 83, Speck Ridge Road, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late Thompson and Addie Holmes Williams. She was proceeded in death by three brothers, Joseph Williams, David Williams, and Walter Williams, one sister Irene Skaggs.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Gayle Mings, Manuel and Tracy Mings all of Campbellsville, two daughters, Sonya Wise and Susie Carroll of Campbellsville, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one sister, Vernie Seaborne of Campbellsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Feathersburg Cemetery.

Mary E. Clements, age 53, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Jewish Hospital after an illness
She was the daughter of the late William B. Wethington and Ella Mae Parrott Wethington, She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Clements, her brothers, Goron Wethington, Charles Wethington and Jerry Wethington and sister Pat Wethington..
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edgar and Jhnellia Clements III of Campbellsville , Phillip J. And Melissa Clements of Dallas and one daughter, Stephanie Ann Elmore of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, five brothers, Tom Wethington, James Wethington , Dean Wethington, and Michael Wethington all of Campbellsville, Joe Wethington of Casey County, four sisters, Charolette Tungate, Francis Cox of Campbellsville, Bettie Stewart of Hazard and Martha Kaye Greer of Danville.
Funeral services will be conducted 11AM, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Bernards Catholic Church Cemetery in Clementsville.

Richard Lee Dean, Sr. 75, of Ingram Avenue, died Sunday at Springview Hospital,
He was the son of the late Harley and Matilda Dean. He was also preceded in death by two step-sons, Donnie and Ricky Holly and one sister Mae Kolkman.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Dean of Campbellsville, three sons, Richard Lee Dean, Jr, and James Henry Dean both of Indiana, Martin Reed Dean of Colorado, two daughters, Vicky Webb and Carol Dean of Campbellsville, step children, Terry Holly of Edmonton and Kathy and Kalvin Shoopman of West Virginia, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, twelve step great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Elmer Norwald of Indiana.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM, Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Jesus Name Church with burial in Jesus Name Church Cemetery.
Elders Ruel Boils, Ronnie Gowen, Jimmy Sharp, officiating.
Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pearl Leathers of Campbellsville, formerly of Lawrenceburg, daughter of the late Jesse Cole and Grace Morris Cole, was born October 26, 1922, in Mercer County, Kentucky. She died at 4:18 A.M., Friday, May 29, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and attended the Broadway Church of Christ.
She united in marriage to Thomas Leathers July 19, 1947.
Besides her husband, Thomas Leathers of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Betty and Larry W. Skaggs of Campbellsville, Judy and David Hoagland and Mary Jo Leathers of Lexington; four grandchildren: Jeff Hoagland and Richard Hoagland of Lexington, Brandon Skaggs and wife, Shanna of Columbia and Daniel Skaggs of Missoula, Montana; two great-grandsons: James Walter Skaggs and Alex Coomer Skaggs of Columbia; three brothers and three sisters: Jack Cole of Delaware, Frank Cole, Pauline Freeman and Rollin Cole and wife, Jeanette of Lawrenceburg, Maxine Hahn of Bardstown and Imogene Drury and husband, Al of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: C. T. Cole, Jesse Cole, Kenneth Cole, Rose Stratton and Henrietta Broughton.

Willard ldquo;Billrdquo; Burress, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Willard Burress, Sr. and Bertha Lee Watson Burress, was born February 13, 1928, in Madison County, Kentucky. He died at 12:45 A.M., Thursday, May 28, 2009, in Lexington. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ, was Baptized in 1939, and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served honorably in the United States Navy some eight years, eleven months, and six days and attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
He was retired from Belknap Hardware after thirty some years and was custodian at Campbellsville Christian Church several years before his second retirement.
He is survived by two nephews and two nieces: Eddie Franklin and wife, Nancy and Tony Franklin and wife, Anita of Campbellsville, Barbara Bloyd and husband, Roger of Lawrenceburg and Tammy Underwood of Augusta, Kentucky; eleven great-nieces and nephews: Angela Marshall, Andrea McCubbin, Josh Bloyd, Cory Bloyd, T. J. Franklin, Allison Franklin, Alexandria Franklin, Amanda Tatchell, Ashley Renfrow, Stacy McNear, and Brooke Milby; six great-great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Franklin April 15, 1994.
