Marvin Gayle Oliver, age 53, died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at his residence after an illness. He was preceded in death by his father, James Oliver and two brothers, Larry and Donnie Oliver. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Lisa Oliver, Chris and Holly Oliver, Brian and Jessica Oliver all of Campbellsville, ten grandchildren, his mother, Floy Mae Oliver of Cadiz, brothers and sisters, Billy Watkins of Pembroke, Jerry Watkins of Crofton, Rita Herndon and Nita Boyd both of Cadiz. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery with military honors by Marion County DAV. Bro. William Charles Edgar Davis, age 64, Meadow Creek Road, Campbellsville, Ky, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness. He was the son of the late Edgar and Jessie Mae Speers Davis. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jessee Lee Davis and Shelby Ray Davis and two sisters, Barbara Collins and Edna Mae Kerr. He is survived by wife, Maxine Davis of Campbellsville, one son and daughter-in-law, William Timothy and Jeannie Davis of Campbellsville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda M and Gary Smith of Campbellsville and Elayne and Bill Perkins of Alabama, six grandchildren, Billy Davis, Eddie Davis, Cassie Perkins, Alex Perkins, Steven Smith and Nicholas Smith,one great-grandchild, Zachlee Blayne Davis, three step-grandchildren, Joey Hunt, Landon Morgan, Tamara Black, and one step great grandchild, Whitney Lloyd, three brothers and three sisters, William Garnett Davis, W. B. (Johnny) Davis, Bobby Glenn Davis and Margaret Marple all of Campbellsville, Louise Kerr-Kettering of Ohio and Catherine Jean Mattingly of Bardstown, one sister-in-law, Margaret Cross of Campbellsville. Anita Ruth Carlquist of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Collins and Julia Kewder Collins, was born December 18, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois. She died at 7:22 P.M., Sunday, February 22, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 77 She united in marriage to Roger Carl Larry Carlquist. He preceded her in death June 21, 2007. She is survived by two daughters and two sons: Kathleen Smith of Campbellsville, Wendy Albright of Machesney Park, Illinois, Lee Carlquist of St. Charles, Illinois and Bill Carlquist of Sugar Grove, Illinois; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Donald Collins of San Jose, California and Norma Jean Collins Orlando of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends. She died at 12:28 P.M., Thursday, February 19, 2009 in Louisville. Age: 36 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Jim Davis October 9, 1999. Dewey Miller of Campbellsville, son of the late Stiles Mixon Miller and Virgie Wright Miller, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, on July 10, 1931. He died at 10:40 A.M., Thursday, February 19, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 77 He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a retired painter and drywall contractor. He united in marriage to Dorothy Lee Bradshaw December 29, 1952. Besides his wife, Dorothy Miller of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters: Tibby Altman of Greensburg, Pam and Buster Tucker of Berea and Jenny and Rev. Alan Witham, of Shelbyville; six grandchildren: Rebecca LeAnn Perraut and husband, Kevin, of Nicholasville, Joshua Tucker of Lexington and Will Tucker and wife, Laura, of Columbus, Ohio, Kelsie Witham and Ryan Witham of Shelbyville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
