Morris Vinson Tucker, Jr was born on April 7, 1927 in Louisville, Ky to the late Rev. Morris V. Tucker,Sr and Elizabeth Risen Tucker. He departed this life, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at his residence having attained the age of 81. He graduated from Greensburg High Scool in 1945 and later attended the University of Louisville School of Music. He married Martha Abell Tucker on January 13, 1957. He was co-founder of Tucker face=WP TypographicSymbols=s Jewelry Store. He was a Registered Jeweler (RJ) of American Gem Society, a Certified Gemologist (CG) of American Gem Society, a Graduate Gemologist (GG) of Gemological Institute of America. He was also a Charter Member of Campbellsville Downtown Business Association, Former Professional Jazz Musician – (Trumpet), a Shriner and 32 degree Mason, Past President of Campbellsville Country Club, an Avid Golfer and a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his wife, Martha Abell Tucker of Campbellsville, two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas M and Kathleen Tucker of Campbellsville, and Dr. Donald W. And Margaret Morford of Jacksonville, Florida, two grandchildren, Drew Douglas and Abel McGinnis Tucker of Campbellsville, one brother and sister-in-law, Al and Joy Tucker of Union, Kentucky and one nephew, Scott Tucker of Florence, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Family request visitation 5 to 8 PM, Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family request expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Central Kentucky or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Building Fund. Ivan Thomas Barnes of Campbellsville, son of the late George Leslie Barnes and Nora Anne Pendleton Barnes was born September 15, 1921 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:08 P.M., Monday, December 22, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 87 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. He united in marriage to Nadine Peterson June 16, 1945. She preceded him in death January 31, 2006. He is survived by two daughters and one son: Betty Hord-Johnston and Vangie Altman and husband Ray of Campbellsville and Tom Barnes and wife, Terri of Louisville; eight grandchildren and spouses: Rhonda and Binky Smith, Scott and Farah Hord, Shaun and Paige Hord, Jake Altman and Zach Altman of Campbellsville, Sarah and Michael Tamm of Phoenix, Arizona, Thomas Barnes of Louisville and Kate Barnes of Arizona; nine great-grandchildren Raina Hansford, Logan Smith, Loren Smith Mattingly, Seth Smith, Layton Hord, David Lane Hord, Chase Hord and Keaton Hord of Campbellsville and Alex Tamm of Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers and one sister, Kelsay (Bug) Barnes and wife Thelma, and Leonard Barnes of Campbellsville and Berdie Rohe of Salem, Indiana. Kathleen Moore, age 77, of Underwood Street, Campbellsville died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She is the daughter of the late Virgil and Mamie Rice Phillips. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joe Phillips and Harry Phillips. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Roger and Barbara Moore of Campbellsville, William Russell Wood of Taylor County, three daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Scott Rucker, Denise Moore of Campbellsville, Tina and Junior Gowen of Leitchfield, one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Connie Phillips of Campbellsville and one sister, Charlotte Krouse of Illinois. Ethel Graham, 74 of Merrimac Road, Merrimac, died Friday, December 19, 2008 after an illness. She is the daughter of the late Troy and Anna Lou Bottoms Helm. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Graham and one son Jerry Graham. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sidney and Debbie Graham of Merrimac, two grandchildren, Chasity and Travis Graham, one brother, Kenny Bandy of Louisville , two sisters, Kathleen White of Campbellsville, Wanda Benningfield of Louisville and one half brother, Darrell Tedder of Elizabethtown Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Monday at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Graham Family Cemetery. Janet Barr Riggs, age 70, formerly of Taylor County died Monday night at Springview Hospital in Lebanon, KY. She is the daughter of the late James Wilson and Mary Ann Shepherd Barr. She was a retired employee of K-Mart where she worked for 45 years. She is survived by one brother Howard Wayne Barr and his wife Barbara of Campbellsville, one niece Dale Hill of Louisville, two nephews Danny and Dennis Craven, four cousins Jeanne Lentz, June Hoskins, and Leon Shepherd all of Campbellsville, and Carolyn Galloway of Brooks, KY. Along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Barr Family Cemetery. Rev.
