Lula Mae KnucklesLula Mae Knuckles age 75 of Risen Avenue, Campbellsville died Tuesday at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. She was the daughter of the late William and Lucky Victoria Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband Elmer Knuckles. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom, a member of Bible Baptist Church. She is survived by one son and his wife, William Earl and Vicky Knuckles of Campbellsville. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home. Bro Rudy Stacy, officiating.

George E. Miller, age 82, of Candace Street, Campbellsville, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Golden Ages Rest Home in Columbia. He was the son of the late Ezra and Augusta Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife Hazel Miller (5-5-1983), his sons George A. Miller and Norman Miller. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Bettye Miller of Campbellsville, six grandchildren, Cambry Bradley, Diyun Byars, Brandon Miller, Lance Miller, Ricky Evans and Mark Miller, five great grandchildren, one brother, Carl Miller of Campbellsville and one sister, Joetta Robinson of Louisville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pleasant Run Cemetery. Rev. Morris Williams, officiating.

Kathleen Hovious of Knifley, daughter of the late Elvin Overstreet and Mayme Parker Overstreet, was born May 18, 1924, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 11:45 P.M., Monday, December 1, in Knifley. Age: 84 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Dunbar Hill Community Church. She united in marriage to Troy Hovious February 27, 1940. He preceded her in death August 28, 2002. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Michael Hovious of Campbellsville, Diane Smith Tucker and David Hovious of Knifley and Bobbie Sue Coleman of Ocala, Florida; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Gertha Williams of Knifley, Ruby Hardin of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Ina Moyer of Ransom, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Annette Ford of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alton Parker Newcomb and Ruth Wilson Newcomb, was born July 11, 1936, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:48 A.M., Monday, December 1, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 72 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Leonard Ford November 26, 1954. She had been employed as a secretary for Ferrellgas for twenty-seven years.
