Betty Lou Tucker, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charles Albert Tullis and Nancy Elizabeth Sublett Tullis, was born August 1, 1946, in Hart County, Kentucky. She died at 5:25 A.M., Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 62 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught for approximately thirty-four years at the Taylor County Elementary School. She united in marriage to Charles Tucker May 15, 1961. Besides her husband, Charles Tucker of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters: Lisa Cheatham and husband, Mark and Tanya Tucker of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jama Vaughn, Dylan Brown, D. J. text-align: center WILLIAM A. KARNES William A. Karnes of Campbellsville, son of Lillie Sexton Karnes and the late Alvin Edgar Karnes, was born May 15, 1943, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:30 P.M., Friday, October 17, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 65 He was a retired veteran of the US Air Force after 21 years of service obtaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He also retired from the US Postal Service after 20 years of service. He united in marriage to Wilma Dean Hoosier on February 20, 1965. She preceded him in death November 21, 2006. He is survived by two sons, Robert Karnes of Campbellsville, and Michael Karnes of Carrollton, TX; mother, Lillie Sexton Karnes of Campbellsville; a brother, Michael Karnes of Campbellsville; a sister, Geraldine Jones of Greenwood, MS; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Marsha Howard of Campbellsville, daughter of the late EmmittHammonds and Navada Combest Hammonds, was born March 23, 1929, in Russell County, Kentucky. She died at 7:45 P.M., Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 79 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired elementary school teacher having taughtin Russell Countyand Campbellsville Elementary School. She united in marriage to Noble Howard December 22, 1950. He preceded her in death October 8, 2005. She is survived by two daughters and one son: Beverly Noe and husband, Larry, Mitzi Tedder and husband, Terry and Marion Howard and wife, Carol of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Ashley Meister and husband, David of Lexington, Austin Tedder and wife, Tiffany, Kelli Shuffett and husband, Don, Ashleigh Bailey, Hannah Howard and Payton Howard of Campbellsville, Melissa Hayes and husband, Andy of Elizabethtown and Clark Howard and wife, Lindsey of Danville; three great-grandchildren: Kyler Tucker of Campbellsville, Jacob Hayes and Luke Hayes of Elizabethtown; one sister, Marlene Blair and husband, Billy of Russell Springs; one brother-in-law, Nathan Hale of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. John Ford of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Dewey Ford and Lottie Mae Callahan Ford, was born February 15, 1940, in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 9:14 P.M., Tuesday, October 9, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 68 He had been owner and operator of a sewage treatment plant. He united in marriage to Wanda Lou Bottoms August 27, 1960. Besides his wife, Wanda Ford of Louisville, he is survived by two sons: Tim Ford and wife, Sheila of Bardstown and Terry Ford of Coxrsquo;s Creek; two grandchildren: Shawn Ford of Mt. Washington and Kristan Spurling of Bardstown; two brothers and two sisters: Conrad Ford and wife, Alma, Ana Gillock and husband, Dean, Wanda ldquo;Cricketrdquo; Pike of Campbellsville and Lynn Ford of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Elliott Cisco, age 77, of Greensburg, formerly of Michigan, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home after an illness. He was the son of the late Thomas and Ethel Cisco. He was also preceded in death by his son, Chris Cisco. He was retired military and steel worker. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Elliott and Debbie Cisco, Jr. Of Michigan, David and Carmen Cisco of Michigan, Walter Cisco of Michigan and Jason and Elizabeth Cisco of Campbellsville, eleven grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Carlos Cisco of West Virginia, Fred Ciso of Michigan, Peggy Cisco of Ohio and Shirley Cisco of Georgia. Family chose cremation with memorial services to be held at a later date in Michigan. Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
