Clifford Collins of Campbellsville, son of the late Lilburn Collins and Lula Bell Parsons Collins, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 27, 1933. He died at 3:30 P.M., Monday, August 18, 2008, in Columbia. Age: 75 He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served for over twenty years in the United States Air Force and attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He is survived by three sons and one daughter and spouses: Ricky W. and Paula Collins and Sandra and Mitchell Bailey of Campbellsville, Dicky and Sandy Collins of Azle, Texas, and Stanley and Debbie Collins of Port Charlotte, Florida; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Collins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers: Fay Pike, James Collins, Walter Ray Collins, Glenn Collins, and Bill Collins. _________________ FUNERAL SERVICES: 4:00 P.M., Friday, August 22nd, 2008 at the Parrott amp; Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. LEILA ELIZABETH PAGE, age 85, of Campbellsville, Kentucky (formerly of Jefferson City, Tennessee), passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008, after a brief illness. Member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City. Veteran of W.W.II having served as a Staff SGT. in the WAC Corps. She was retired from Pitney-Bowes with 17 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Page; parents, Clarence and Fay Compton; and sister, Fay Grebe. Survived by sons Michael Page and wife, Karan, of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and Robert Page of Kansas City, Kansas; four grandchildren: Christopher Page of Birmingham, Alabama; Katie Page of Campbellsville, Kentucky; Jesse Page-Adams of Denver, Colorado; and Charlie Page-Adams of Kansas City, Kansas. One nephew, Paul Grebe, of Cumming, Georgia. Memorial services will be held at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City with Mitch Cain and Tom Underwood officiating. Internment to be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. Family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation. Dorothy A. Camp, age 90, of Taylor Blvd, Campbellsville, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Grandview Nursing Home. She is the daughter of the late Ed and Ambie Camp Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Camp, her daughter, Mary Louise Lee, two sisters, Mary Cloningier and Janie Gillespie. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and a member of Sunny Hill Church of Christ. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Francis Henderson, Carolyn and Ron Gossage, Charlene and Milton Shofner and Bobby Lee all of Campbellsville, eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, fifteen step great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren and five step great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Bro. Steve Lee, officiating.

Rev. Howard W. Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Frank Davenport and Earsie Nolan Davenport was born August 10, 1929 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He died at 7:30 P.M., Saturday, August 16, 2008 in New Albany, Indiana. Age: 79 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He pastored numerous churches including Parksville Baptist Church for six years, South Campbellsville Baptist Church for ten years, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Keene for four years, Oak Grove Baptist Church in Russell County for two years and filled the pulpit for many other churches during times of a pastor#39;s absence. He united in marriage to Dorothy Hill December 20, 1947. Besides his wife, Dorothy Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Reggie and Betty Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; three grandchildren: Brenda Jo St. John of Corbin, William Edward Davenport of Seoul, South Korea, and Paul Davenport of Chicago, Illinois; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harold Davenport and Kenneth Davenport of Danville and Marvin Davenport of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Sherry Jo Wright of Greensburg, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of Donald Wright and Estleen Skaggs Wright, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, July 7, 1955. She died at 5:05 A.M., Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Greensburg. Age: 53 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River House of Prayer. She was an employee of Fruit of the Loom for twenty years, then later worked for Jane Todd Crawford Hospital and Green County Primary Care.
