Eulalia Leigh of Indiana, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joe Alfred Clements and Marie Phillips Clements, was born in Pawpaw, Illinois, September 5, 1926. She died at 1:05 P.M., Tuesday, August 5, 2008, in Indiana. Age: 81 She had professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God while living in Taylor County. She also attended Corner Stone Ministries in Anderson, Indiana. She retired from Fruit of the Loom. She united in marriage to Rufus John Leigh July 10, 1945. He preceded her in death April 29, 1986. She is survived by two daughters and two sons: David Leigh and wife, Linda of Elkhorn, Carolyn Jent and husband, Jesse, Joe Leigh and wife, Rosanna of Anderson, Indiana and Shirley Yeagley and husband, David of Elwood, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Rick Leigh, J. T. Leigh, Angie Cash, Missy Hicks and Geoffrey Underwood of Elkhorn, Ronnie Humes of Alexandria, Indiana, Mike Leigh, Jeremy Leigh of Anderson, Indiana and Amber Yeagley of Wabash, Indiana; fifteen great-grandchildren: Jonathan Leigh, McKayla Cash, Lindsey Cash, Shelby Leigh, Jack Leigh, Jacob Brown, Haley King, David Leigh, Kaylee Leigh and Brody Leigh of Elkhorn, Zachary Humes and Jade Humes of Alexandria, Indiana, D. J. Leigh, Brandon Leigh of Anderson, Indiana and Shane Galley of Wabash, Indiana; two sisters: Lila Rogers of Liberty and Helen Kebsch of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Vernie Mae Allen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Georgie Richard DeWitt and Mattie Warner DeWitt, was born in Sheffield, Illinois, February 11, 1929. She died at 8:30 A.M., Tuesday, August 5, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 79 She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. She retired from the Taylor County School System as a custodian. She united in marriage to William L. Allen September 21, 1946. He preceded her in death July 26, 2008. She is survived by one son-in-law, Michael Thompson of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Tina Yates and husband Ricky of Campbellsville; two great-grandsons: Marcus Ryan Wethington and Troy Allen Wethington of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. David Daniel Norris 75 David Daniel Norris, 75, of Gaddis Ridge Road, Elkhorn, formerly of Florida, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Springview Hospital in Lebanon after an illness. He was the son of the late David and Mattie Norris. He was also preceded in death by one son, David Daniel Norris and one sister, Jessie Hutto. He is survived by his wife Colette Levesque Norris of Elkhorn, one son Scott Norris, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., four daughters, Vickie Lynn Norris, Lisa Ralsbey and Shana Norris all of Florida and Laurie Norris of New Zealand, four grandchildren, two sisters and brother-in-law, Johnnie and Donald Greninger of Mannsville and Mattie Lou Bynum, of Georgia. Family chose cremation. Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Ford of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Chester Watson and Vernice Baumgardner Watson was born June 23, 1918 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:30 A.M., Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 90 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a member of the honorable order of Kentucky Colonels and was active in the Democratic Party. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. She united in marriage to Willie Joe Ford March 29, 1933. He preceded her in death January 4, 1997.
