Mr. Elmer H. “Buck” Lowery of Green County was born on August 18, 1941 in Bradfordsville to the late Wesley and Kitty Belle (Russell) Lowery. He departed this life on January 23, 2022 in Green County, having attained the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 5 days.
Buck professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Union Separate Baptist Church. He retired from Fruit of the Loom after thirty-plus years of service. He loved to spend his free time fishing and being with his grandkids.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Five children: Mark Kessinger and wife Renee of Campbellsville, Chris Lowery and fiancee Shellvonia of Campbellsville, Debbie Henderson and husband Billy of Greensburg, Leon Kessinger and wife Joan of Hodgenville, and Ricky Kessinger and wife Mary of Hodgenville,
Ten grandchildren: Ashley Kessinger, Mark Kessinger, Logan Kessinger, Mariah Lowery, Whitney Kessinger, Emily Kessinger, Wesley Kessinger, Allison Kessinger, Ashley Davis, and Tiffany Cornish,
And a host of other extended family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by Virginia Lowery, and three sisters and four brothers.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Elmer “Buck” Lowery on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Union Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Buffalo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 26, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST).

Mrs. Elsie Sue (Chandler) Bray of Columbia passed from this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Born on July 16, 1940 to the late Chib and Martha (Miller) Chandler, she was 81 years of age. She was a homemaker, and was of the Christian faith.
She leaves to carry her legacy:
Eight children: Dannie Bray and wife Christine of Campbellsville, Ricky Bray and wife Angie of Campbellsville, Karen Overstreet and husband Jimmy of Knifley, Bobby Bray and wife Deedra of Knifley, Bill Bray and wife Lisa of Knifley, Joe Bray and wife Tracy of Greensburg, Tina Coffman and husband Joe of Dayton, Tennessee, and Missy Gibson and husband Lester of Cleveland, Tennessee,
Thirty-one grandchildren,
Forty-one great-grandchildren,
And a host of other family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by four children: Peggy, Darlene, Kathy, and Betty; and six siblings.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Bray on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM (12:00 PM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Danny Osborne will officiate. Burial will follow in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 24, from 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) until time for the funeral.

Mrs. Brittany Nicole Chadwell, daughter of David Matthew Johnson, Sr. and Regina D. Burris, was born in Campbelsville on September 4, 1991. On January 19, 2022, at the age of 30 years, 4 months, and 15 days, she lost a hard-fought battle against cancer. She had lived her life on her own quiet, gentle terms, always polite and loyal, and rarely complaining about the hardships she suffered. Her genuine love for people gained her many a close friend, and she will be cherished by countless.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
Four children: Maddux Brandon Chadwell, Cali Shae Chadwell, Brian Zayn Hicks, and Jett Isaac Hicks,
Her mother: Regina Burris of Campbellsville,
Her father: David Matthew Johnson, Sr. of Elk Horn,
A fiancé: Brian Hicks,
Three siblings: David Matthew Johnson, Jr and wife Amy of Rineyville, Micheal Wayne Johnson of Campbellsville, and Christopher Todd Johnson of Elk Horn,

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Chadwell on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. She will be laid to rest beside her daughter, Madison Rose Chadwell, in the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Clementsville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

Mrs. Martha Evelyn Bailey of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on May 7, 1931 in Louisville to the late George and Elsie (Fine) Rigsby, she was 90 years, 8 months, and 11 days of age. She was a former employee of Fisher Packing Company and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed living a simple life, and raised many a flower garden. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member of Woodlawn Christian Church.
Mrs. Bailey was the widower of Mr. Harold Bailey. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Glen Rigsby, and a grandson.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Five children: Perry Rooker, Roger Rooker and wife Ina, Scott Rooker and wife Terry, Gary Rooker, and Becky Lentz and husband Richard,
Nineteen grandchildren,
Twenty-eight great-grandchildren,
Thirteen great-great grandchildren,
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Bailey on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Fella Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Vincent Aubrey Smith of Campbellsville, the son of Mark Dewaine and Elizabeth “Liz” (Miller) Smith was born May 28, 1988 in Lexington, KY and departed this life on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Calhoun, Georgia. He was 33 years of age.
He was a contract painter and member of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
Vincent enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music of all kinds, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents Mark and Liz Smith of Campbellsville; a sister: Madelyne Elizabeth “Maddie” Smith of Atlanta; a brother: Sabin Jeremiah Thompson of Florida, a niece Breanna Elizabeth Thompson of Florence, Alabama; his grandfather: Doyle Smith of Louisville; his companion: Desiree Bunch of Lafayette, Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Vincent Aubrey Smith will be Sunday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R.Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery.
Bro. Jason Roop will be officiating
Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Saturday and after 8:00 A.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
