Helen Walker, the daughter of the later Walter and Ruth (Kidwell) Taylor, was born January 30, 1934 in Taylor County and departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab. She was 87 years of age. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for over 40 years, a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She loved nature and feeding the squirrels, but most of all her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford “Tom” Walker, two brothers and two sisters: Joe and Michael Taylor, Peggy Bishop and Florence Mitchell. Helen is survived by a daughter: Debbie Creason; a brother: Jim Taylor; a granddaughter: Katrina Creason; two great-grandchildren: Taylor and Dezerae Hatfield; two great-great grandchildren: Kingslii and Kailani and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Judy Gail Neighbors of Campbellsville was born in Adair County on August 14, 1947 to the late James and Verna Miller Agee. She departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 73 years, 2 months, and 24 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Neighbors was a retired real estate agent, and loved to spend her time fishing with – or cooking for – her family. Doris Lorraine Beams, the daughter of the late R.C. and Mary (Erwin) Gowen, was born June 16, 1929 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 91 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a former Fruit of the Loom employee, she had a custodial service, and raised chickens commercially until a fire destroyed the operation. Doris loved flowers, crocheting, sewing, she was an artist and wrote poems of which two were published. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Bloyd Beams in 2007, a step-son: William Bloyd, Jr., a brother: Finis Gowen, two sisters: Carolyn Dickens and Charlotte Crowe and a granddaughter: Jill Rainwater. She is survived by a son and three daughters: Ernest Clifton Price and wife Penny, Wanda Jane Hall and husband Melvin, Sherri Rainwater and husband Johnnie and Pamela Colvin and husband Donald, all of Campbellsville; fourteen grandchildren: Regina, Angela, Scott, Amamda, Brian, Jr., Tammi, Timmy, Tommy, Jemima, Shelly, Justin, John Jr and Julie and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mr. Jerry Sapp of Finley, son of the late Herbert L. and Naomi (Benningfield) Sapp, was surrounded by his family when he passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at his home. Born on September 17, 1939, he was 81 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. Mr. Sapp was a rural letter carrier and served the people and businesses of Taylor and Marion Counties over 45 years. As an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt (especially squirrels), and was passionate about leaving nature better than he found it. The solidity of his genuine heart and honest spirit is evidenced in those he leaves behind.
